Spanish Moss (Tillandsia usneoides) Not Spanish, Not a moss....and has no roots! So what is it?

    I’d like to add that Spanish moss is very fragrant when it blooms, also easy to grow in a greenhouse.

    When I was a kid in the early nineties my aunt would call it elephant snot she was maybe 16 at the time and it stuck with me but I would get the weirdest looks when I called it that.they thought I really thought there were elephants in Mississippi Forrest
