Personally it looks better than Adidas FR . The carbon/plastic type plate is for walking efficiency and stability wherein the foot will roll of for the next step and the plate keeps that rolling shape in the forefoot rigid but it will make the ride rigid . What i find weird is the bevel on the heel . I wish it was not that aggressive and pushed to the rear a bit more. Asics has a completely 3D printed slides (like the mid sole of the adidas 4D but the whole slide )
