Hi, I need your feedback! Feel free to answer these questions or comment on something different. What did you like about this video? What did you dislike? How could I improve next time? What do you think about the intro?
I love it! Though if I may suggest, maybe a map of the battle with the opposing armies drawn up so that we can more easily visualize the battle? Thank you!
Thank you so much! Great suggestion, I thought about it too. There is, however, a technical problem, since I don't know anything about animating and don't know how to do it, to be honest. Maybe someone will help me with that in the future so that the upcoming videos will contain it already, but for now, I don't have the skills or the aid. ;)
The production quality of this is amazing. And to think that this is your first massive project. I truly see great things in your future if you continue on this trend of great work. Inspite of not being a native english speaker, you are still very clear in your pronunciation are very easy to understand for me. Your set/backdrop is also looks very good and atmospheric. It just adds to a great professional setting/vibe. I agree with the other commenter. That it would perhaps be nice to see the battle visualized. It doesn't even have to be fully animated soldiers and fights with 3d programs like kings and generals (who use rome total war 2). But perhaps something more simple like a crude map of the area with symbols denoting soldier position and attack lines could help visualize the message. Even the simple photoshop like images of historia civilis have a charm of themselves. But are perhaps not the vibe you are aiming for. Parhaps a happy middle can be found. I especially like it that in the second half of the presentation you show some clips of the roman legionaries on one hand and gallic/iberian soldiers on the other. I think it would add to the whole experience if next time we got to see more of those kinds of visual aids. Once again, it doesn't even have to be live action or 3d created imagery. There is some great artwork depicting the battle of Trebia online. Perhaps interspacing that into the talk would enhance everything. Your choice of music is also great. It's not overwhelming or distracting, but simply adds to the production value. Great job on finding the right balance there. Like I said. I foresee great things in your future. I can tell you have a passion for history. And already show great skill in what you produce. I can't wait to see where you go next.
Thank you very much for taking time to share your opinion and give me your great feedback! I appreciate that a lot! I will definately think about the animations although it might take some time to understand it and incorporate into the videos. Also, thanks for support, it's very much needed at the start of one's youtube journey!
