I am inspired to design a smart home whereby I can control NON smart appliances such as AC, lights, fan etc (they come with IR control) I have some questions which I cannot seem to find any info online and Hope to that I can get some input from you. Using the 4 gang Z1 Pro as an example, this means that if I install it with a T1M ceiling light - i should connect it to L1? Then run it in decoupled mode so that I can use the 1st and 2nd buttons to control the main light and the led ring separately? or should I simply connect the light to L? which would mean that i actually have a triple relay in the switch that can be used independent of the buttons, for any non smart items like a dumb light / fan?

Hi, I bought a Z1 Pro 4 gang few weeks ago, but wasn't able to get it to pairing mode. Double-clicked and held down a button for 5 seconds, but it doesn't flash blue. What could be the problem?
@AlexTeo, thanks, yes it was my sequence problem. Managed to set it up. Do you happen to know if the sliding touch can be used to control Aircon parameters (e.g. fan speed, temperature) via Aqara Hub M2 infrared? I tried selecting my Aircon (via the IR) as the action, but all actions are locked. 😅

Alex, that means the slider and the 4th button can be used to control non Aqara product? For example, the slider can dim a non aqara LED strip?

its not a dimmer switch, so far i don't see any issues on mqtt with all my other smart lights

Any problems installing with aqara location block? Mine is set to 'others' and I had done trouble adding more D1 switches

these are smart switches, you can have any number of switches to control the same device

of course it can, you can use with any device as long as it falls within the supported power load

When should be Aqara Z1 Pro wall switch be available in Europe? I couldn't find it anywhere. Also, does anyone know if its also compatible with EU round wall socket which we use quite often?
these are smart switches, not power sockets

Hi Alex, would like to learn from you and hear from your advise. Currently I have a light, with two normal switches, one at second floor and one at ground floor. If I would to change to smart switches, how would you advise? Some of my switches are D1 with XiaoMi hub. Thank you.
I always advise to pick the smart home systems that you want to use first, then get the devices

@@LimWesiang you can have all the switches in the house to control the same device, its all about how you setup and configure them
