Mark, you are a really positive influence for a lot of people in a noisy world. Your teachings about struggle, happiness and purpose (and the Goldilocks level of pain) are constant reminders for me when I try to do something difficult. Listening to you chills me a lot ❤ 😊

Great to have a refresher on a broad range of topics. Looking forward to your next milestone!
Regarding the new studio at the time of filming, what make and model are those bookshelves behind Mark?
I think they're super-sleek and would love to have that style in my office.
    Thanks!

Mark, I have a question referring to models. When you start dating, we agree that you should be as much invested or less than your partner, but what happens if you feel like you are more invested ? Should you let it show, play it honest but may appear less attractive or should you try to moderate yourself. Isn't it a bad idea to hide this investment because sooner or later this will show ?

You can stop (or not stop) drinking (or anything), when you realize and believe that there is no (or is great) benefit in it. - So one possible first question is: What problem does x solve for you? does it work? and is it worth the trade offs? ... and be open to that it might be...

On the subject of shame -
I would suggest that you don’t “shame someone” but rather allow the perpetrator of the shame act’s natural response to “hang in the air” and let it naturally evolve. Yes, of course, people should experience the results of their actions; however, I don’t believe we need to impose a Godlike judgment and sentence onto them.
In a healthy person with a healthy personality, shame will occur naturally if they have done something “shameful,”, and yes, we should just let it be and acknowledge that it’s normal and proper to experience that shame, however, uncomfortable it may be.
But the act of taking it upon oneself to impose “shame” onto another person- especially a child!! - is actually arrogant and even sadistic.

Let me answer for him. No.
But...it depends on what type of friends ( close friends through school/HS but it cooled off because work/distance/partners ) & the type of desinterest I'd say.

No amount of hard to get by any means or anyone is worth the time, energy and emotional strain. If they treat you as if you're not worth it, even though you put in the effort, are they really even worth it?

Don't you think, that musicians can't make a career in music industry because they don't know how to promote and sell themselves rather than because they don't know how to make music? I think it's like any other industry. It doesn't matter how good your talent is if nobody can see it.
