I am currently on the Camino ( currently at Burgos) and another pilgrim and I bonded over how much you’ve impacted us on this walk from what to bring to your love of this journey! Thank you 🫶🏻
Dear Steph would you please do a little video about the Camino Portuguese and accommodations you stayed at with mum?? I'm planning the Camino Portuguese with mum and her friend. THANK YOU THANK YOU (or release your Camino survival ebook) Cheers!!
Thanks for all your content so helpful !! ❤You may have heard this, maybe not , and take it as a compliment when I mention it but you have a resemblance to Courtney K .She’s also very pretty and independent and brave ( so that’s why a compliment ) I admire your courageous and fun attitude. I just may try this Camino thing . I learned about it by watching a movie called The way 😁
I love your videos, I am planning to go to El camino de France next year. Have you ever gone to Catskill mountains in upstate NY? My husband used to hike there many years ago, and he said it's beautiful up there and you can join a hicking club.❤
Great walk! Some day I will make it to New York. I have the exact same Cotopaxi hip bag that I am going to take on the Camino Portuguese. I have been practicing with it (and my backpack)- seems to be working great. I leave for Porto on Oct 7th - so excited. All the best with your NY training and thanks for taking us with you.
Love your videos and how you present interesting things. Love your sandals and bag. You and your Mom have a great time together on the Camino, will be watching.❤
Aw thank you so much!!! I could make a video about hair care, I just didn’t think anyone here would be interested 😂 and yes sooo much hair is constantly falling out hahah
I'm portuguese and the camino has been on my list for a few years. I watched your videos last week and i tought, this is it! This is the time. I've done a 9 day trekking before but i think the camino will be a lot more challenging. I am learning a lot from you, i'll probably order chacos (love that color!) and as soon as i get my knee fixed and medical aproval, i'll get on the way! probably Tui - Santiago, just to see how it goes first :) can't wait to see your videos of the portuguese camino! (i know Porto but besided that, i've never explored the north).
Love the Chacos and Cotopaxi is also one of my fave brands! Do you know which route you are taking yet? Curious to see what the weather will be like this time of year. Thanks for taking us along with you :)
Ahhh we still haven’t decided! Hahah I really think we’re just going to wing it and see how it feels 🤗 I’m honestly SHOCKED at the weather in Porto right now. It’s not very warm?! Gonna keep an eye on it
@@StefanieHurtado Yeeeyyy!!! I love your caminos. I am going to buy my first chacos. Unfortunately they aren't sold here in Italy nut I am going to ask my daughter, who lives in Amsterdam, to buy them for me.
Hi Stefanie, thank you sooo much for all the inspirational and very professionally made videos! You inspire me and now I am going to walk the Camino this September, on my Chaco's as well. I do have a question I hope you can answer, what do you do when it rains? I was looking into water resistent sock or shoe rain covers. Hope to hear from you when you have the time. Good luck on your next camino! Thank you 🪶, Maaike
Aww that’s amazing! September is the best time! Chacos were actually designed by a river rafting guide to be good in the water :) I wore my Chacos in the rain on my Portugues last September and they worked perfectly! But how fast they dry depends on which kind you have. The classic Z1 are firmer and will dry almost right away. The Z cloud is squishier and more comfortable, but will stay wet longer.
Hello Stephanie, greetings from Southlake Texas. I started watching your first and second Camino procession and I got inspired. I had heard about it from my friends when I went to Spain in the 90s. It was behind my mind but now I really want to do it but I did had a heart attack in 2017 and that makes me really think about really like am I really healthy enough to walk? I mean I enjoy walking, I walk for about three or 5 miles every other day try to keep my health as healthy as I can, but I never really walked that long but what are your tips on how to get prepared? Do you have a video on preparing for such a trip or such a journey to do in a group setting and besides taking my meds with me and doing my check up or physical is there something else that we should be preventive about especially we do have a underlining diagnose with our health?
so interesting to see parts of New York Ive heard about over the years. Did your feet never get sore on the camino wearing sandals? Did you ever wear socks with them?
I love showing New York! 🤗💖 Ohhh yes, feet will feel sore no matter what with all that walking, but I never had to deal with blisters with my Chacos. I only wore socks with them once and didn’t love the feeling lol
As someone doing all of the research atm: why do most people choose Open Toed Sandals to their favorite Tennis Shoes to hike the Camino? I have seen that most people choose Sandals.
I prefer sandals for the Camino because it’s pretty easy terrain, Spain is very hot in the months I go, and Chacos in particular are very supportive and durable. I personally have flat arches and have a hard time finding arch support as strong as Chacos. Also, everyone I know who wore tennis shoes or trail runners got blisters, I think from the combo of moisture and rubbing for 8-10 hours. Having toes free means no moisture and no blisters 🤗

Cant wait to see your video about your last Camino Potoguese.
Ahhh me too! haha I'm downloading the footage right now :)
Oh my goodness! New York through the eyes of a local, thank you for taking us on your training hike in such an incredible place 😃

Hit Sarria today walking with more pilgrims to Santiago. Frances has been everything with sprinkles on top. Big wrap party on 2nd.

Awww hiii 💖 Yes! Next time I’ll walk through my favorite areas 🤗

The ownership drama over the Flat Iron is pretty sad. She needs some love
Omgosh yes, I agree! The legal limbo is such a shame. So glad I have a film picture of her on my fridge that I took in like 2016 🥹

They’re linked in the description 🤗
I'm hopefully walking the camino Frances in a few weeks.... what style of chacos have you got? xxxx
