I tried this too and it works good for me spent 12$ on the blow dryer and 6$ on pvc came out around 20$ after tax and the cheapest boot dryer I saw on Amazon was 32$
Suggestion, don't tighten the boot shaft, you want the moisture to get out, your boots will dry faster also use the lowest heat and fan setting for best results. High heat will damage the insides of your boots.
Hot air will damage the boot linings but warm air won't. He should loosen the boot shaft to allow the moisture to get out or he'll have the bigger problems that you mention.

Good stuff I made one just like yours and can even dry my gloves by twisting the PVC pipes
Love it dude! One of the most helpful videos I've seen here. 👍👍
out of all the homemade pvc boot dryers go. yours is the best in its simplicity
You are a genius.
HA! Man, this might be the answer at the end of my researching for the best boot dryer for working boots:)
It works Great! does make the area it’s being used in stink while in use but it’s a great trade off for dry Warm boots.
Haha this is awesome 👏🏻
I need to figure away to do this setup except upside down to help drain any excess water from my fishing boots.
if that's what they rig in the ghetto, that's pretty smart.
That is so cool!
i just stick the blow dryer inside & allow room for the warm, humid air to escape.
What size is the pipe the dryer fits into?
maybe you can buy a cheap plug in dehumidifier and stick your gear in a box and it shouldnt smell at all
isn't hot air bad to dry out sweat and other moisture related things or am I wrong?

In the vid he says he only uses the warm setting...the boot shaft can't be too lose or it won't stay upright...
good idea, but the smell in the room?
It stinks up the place pretty quickly, lol. Small price to pay for some dry feet though..
hahahaha
thiagotecnico Pete boot dryer bro
If you start with a new pair of boots and dry them after every use it’s not to bad
Cant be no worse then the ashtray next to the boots lol.
