This is exactly what I’m hoping for. Optimising the day in the way that Molly would actually recommend, rather than for the purpose of the challenge. Using the standby and genie+ but not paying for fancy rides tm. We are a family of 7 so would definitely not pay the extra for those, but we have got genie+ . . .
What I really want to see is Genie+ & Stand-by lines following Genie suggestions vs Molly Brain. Pick like 20 required attractions, 10 2nd tier, and 5 3rd tier - the rest should actively be declined in the Genie app.
PRO TIP: You can actually have multiple lightning lanes booked at one time, not just 2. As soon as you tap into any lightning lane, you can book another one even if you already have another one booked, regardless of when when the one you tapped into was booked. Here’s an example: You book a genie+ lightning lane at 9am for a ride at 1115am. At 11am you book another genie+ lightning lane ride(because 120 minutes have passed since you booked your first ride) for a ride at 1230pm. Once you tap into the 1115am ride, you will be able to book another genie+ lightning lane, even though it’s only been 15 minutes since you booked your last ride for 230 pm. You can keep repeating this process and stack as many rides as you want. When we were at Hollywood studios, we had 4 lightning lanes all booked at once! By the middle afternoon we had Millennium Falcon, Tower of Terror, Rockin Roller Coaster and Toy Story Mania all booked and saved for us to ride later in the evening one right after another. It was awesome!!!
They seem to have closed this loophole. It didn't work for me anyday. Additionally, I couldn't book another Lightning Lane until both my passes had been used even if one had been used AND 120 minutes has past. This was particularly frustrating when it was morning and one of our lighting lanes was after 3:00pm.

I would love to see a video on doing Magic Kingdom WITHOUT a cell phone. Can it actually be done? How do you get food? How do you figure out what to do when?
I’d like to see you do park days at each park using Genie+ but not buying Fancy Rides and using standby for those rides. I’d also like to see a recap video of all your experiments with your recommendation on what to do for each park.
I would love a challenge where one person goes across the park to the attractions with the shortest wait times compared to someone going round the park clockwise, to see how much time is wasted travelling to and from attractions

I'd like to see a comparison using EITHER Genie+ or ILLs, but not both, as I feel like doing both is out of budget for a lot of people. I feel like in MK, you're better off rope dropping 7DMT and Space and then using G+ to accomplish everything else. But in DHS, it might be better value to pay for RotR and MMRRR ILLs and then get Slinky/ToT/RnRR/etc out of the way early

Thank you for leaving in your tears at seeing Mickey. My best friend died about 15 years ago. She cried every time she saw Mickey at Disneyland. You just gave me a wonderful memory, and some tears. Her daughter got married in September and just returned from her honeymoon at Disneyworld. She is so like her mother. Trying to use Genie+ today in Hollywood Studios was very disappointing. Got TOT at 10:05am and then nothing else available until 4 or 5 pm. Total waste of money for our family of 4. I think you should be able to book 3 right away.

This is very specific but I would love a video of y'all using the genie+ to do a perfect day for toddlers. I'm going to the Magic Kingdom with my 3.5 and 2 year old niece and nephew. They will not be able to stand long lines so I'm watching your videos to figure out how to avoid toddler meltdowns by optimizing the experience.
I live close to WDW and have a toddler. We go all the time and have tons of tips to give. Thinking of starting a blog for the majority of people who come with kids. Love the main Disney bloggers but most of them go alone/with no kids which is a much different experience haha.

Actually I would love a video about "a day in the life" of a family or group at one of the parks. We are a group of 6 adults. So like start with booking the Genie+ and Fancy rides in the hotel at 7am and then tips for transportation with a group and then tips in the park for herding around a group. Tips for mobile ordering, like does everyone order their own food, or does one person order for the group so that we have the same time period. And then tips for where a group should stand or sit to eat their food, it looks easier for you to find a place solo. And then is there a better spot for a group to watch the fireworks. I think that would be so helpful! Thanks you so much, ALLEARS has been sooo helpful!!

For the "2 lightning lane" situation - is it because of the 120 Minute Rule (da, da, da...)? 1 for "original" booking and another from the 120 Minute Rule (da, da, da...) booking? If so, might it be useful to invoke the 120 Minute Rule (da, da, da...) intentionally fairly early in the day (while taking advantage of the shorter "rope drop" lines to fill in the time) and then have 2fers the rest of the day??? Molly is such a delight and fun to watch - the water ride ritual, the emotional MM meet and greet (a true Diz fan), the "wrong color" Dumbo, "winking" hippo (agree to protest!!!), etc. Thanks for ALL of the great work (including the producer - wonderful additional comments)!!!

I'll be there in early january, I definitely plan on doing all the rides in one day with Genie +. We went in May and suffered through that 95* heat for 9 hours a day at the parks, January will be a breeze! Excited and thanks for the video!

Hey Molly, can you please talk about which queues have 1 vs. 2 touch points in the lightning lane to save time when booking your next lightning lane? If you go into the app after the 1st touch point, will it Know you still need to do a 2nd touch point before making your next lightning lane selection?
Just back from Disney, crowded. Used genie plus these are my suggestions for using. Go ahead and schedule your fancy rides first thing in the morning. If you know when you plan to reach park schedule your lightening lane for that time. Schedule the next one as soon as you tap in. If there are rides you must ride schedule lightning lane for any time you can get. Fill in with shows as soon as you can schedule a new lane get one. There are times that you can have two lightning lanes at one time. Most important don't wait to schedule lanes. Don't wait to schedule fancy rides. On a busy day almost all popular rides lanes fill up.
I heard they changed some of the rules with "stacking" Genie + rides. Can you explain what this means? It seems like you're using a lot of Genie + before the "120 minute" rule.
I really can’t emphasize enough how you all are doing God’s work. I really need an ideal itinerary. My bf and I are tackling the entire park in one day since we’ll only be in Florida for 4 days (we have two day tix and want to get Hollywood studios and MK in those two days).

Would love to see how you would manage multiple people in your party doing different things on the same day. For instance, my 4 year old can't ride with bigger rides, but my 11 year old can. Can me and my 11 year old book a + ride and my wife and 4 year old book something else at the same time. Hopefully I made sense with that
Sure, because you can book just your 11 year old and yourself on a ride. your wife will need to book herself and the 4 yr old on the other one. You're all on each others' "family" or if not, you can do that now. check out the app now.
Will be interesting to see what happens when Tron and Guardians open -- expect they will certainly be Fancy Rides (TM) but will they stick to 2 per park? And if they do, does that mean Space Mountain and Frozen Ever After change to regular Genie+ attractions since they seem to be the obvious choices in those respective parks?
It would be interesting to see if fiddle faddling works with a group larger than 1. I get the feeling it would be easier to find quick adjustments the smaller your party size.

Hi Molly! Your videos are mostly how you book things as a solo traveler however most of us are with a group. Can you please give tips for a group trying to book Genie+ and Fancy Rides. For example should I at 7am in the hotel try to get Rise and my daughter tries to get Smugglers and my daughter in law at the same time tries to get Slinky Dog. Can we all be doing this at the same time? Please give tips for this! Thank you!!

Questions - For Magic Kingdom when does Jungle Cruise open? Should I Genie Plus Jungle Cruise or Peter Pan? Staying at Disney hotel with my toddler. Which should rope drop? (Dec 6th) I'm the one in charge of everything with me, toddler, and grandma. When I do Genie Plus can I book for everybody?

Not sure if it has been asked/mentioned, but if you have genie+, park hopper, and are going multiple days, can you use genie+ for the same ride in those two days? For example, if you go to magic kingdom and use genie+ for Peter Pan on the first day, then the second day you park hop back to magic kingdom, can you use genie+ for Peter Pan again seeing as you had the service for both days? Or is it a once per trip type deal?
I still think Disney should have just adopted Universal’s system. For me it was I stayed at the Hard Rock and got unlimited express pass. Perfect!! I never liked the Disney fast pass system because I never could get the big rides. BUT I’d pay to skip the line at Flight of Passage. That’s about it.
My wife and I are going to Disney World (MG & HS) with another couple. Do you recommend they purchase their own tickets and genie plus so each couple controls it? Or should one person purchase the tickets and genie plus and all 4 use the same? We tend to want to do most things together for the day but I could see us doing some separate activities. Thoughts?

Hey Molly, can you please talk about which queues have 1 vs. 2 touch points in the lightning lane to save time when booking your next lightning lane?
If you go into the app after the 1st touch point, will it Know you still need to do a 2nd touch point before making your next lightning lane selection?
Yes. If the line has 2 tap points, you have to do the 2nd one before it’ll let you book a new pass. Most rides have 2.
Just back from Disney, crowded. Used genie plus these are my suggestions for using. Go ahead and schedule your fancy rides first thing in the morning. If you know when you plan to reach park schedule your lightening lane for that time. Schedule the next one as soon as you tap in. If there are rides you must ride schedule lightning lane for any time you can get. Fill in with shows as soon as you can schedule a new lane get one. There are times that you can have two lightning lanes at one time. Most important don't wait to schedule lanes. Don't wait to schedule fancy rides. On a busy day almost all popular rides lanes fill up.
I heard they changed some of the rules with "stacking" Genie + rides. Can you explain what this means? It seems like you're using a lot of Genie + before the "120 minute" rule.
I really can’t emphasize enough how you all are doing God’s work. I really need an ideal itinerary. My bf and I are tackling the entire park in one day since we’ll only be in Florida for 4 days (we have two day tix and want to get Hollywood studios and MK in those two days).

I would love to see a video of you trying this again during spring break peak times to see if there is any difference now that more people are aware of and familiar with genie+ and how to use it. Also interested if having only one “Fancy Ride” per park now affects anything.

Would love to see how you would manage multiple people in your party doing different things on the same day. For instance, my 4 year old can't ride with bigger rides, but my 11 year old can. Can me and my 11 year old book a + ride and my wife and 4 year old book something else at the same time. Hopefully I made sense with that
Sure, because you can book just your 11 year old and yourself on a ride. your wife will need to book herself and the 4 yr old on the other one. You're all on each others' "family" or if not, you can do that now. check out the app now.
Will be interesting to see what happens when Tron and Guardians open -- expect they will certainly be Fancy Rides (TM) but will they stick to 2 per park? And if they do, does that mean Space Mountain and Frozen Ever After change to regular Genie+ attractions since they seem to be the obvious choices in those respective parks?

It would be interesting to see if fiddle faddling works with a group larger than 1. I get the feeling it would be easier to find quick adjustments the smaller your party size.

Hi Molly! Your videos are mostly how you book things as a solo traveler however most of us are with a group. Can you please give tips for a group trying to book Genie+ and Fancy Rides. For example should I at 7am in the hotel try to get Rise and my daughter tries to get Smugglers and my daughter in law at the same time tries to get Slinky Dog. Can we all be doing this at the same time? Please give tips for this! Thank you!!
I'm still confused with the 120 minute rule. I thought that you couldn't book any for 2 hours after booking one but I saw that you booked several back to back. Thanks a bunch for these videos.

Questions - For Magic Kingdom when does Jungle Cruise open? Should I Genie Plus Jungle Cruise or Peter Pan? Staying at Disney hotel with my toddler. Which should rope drop? (Dec 6th) I'm the one in charge of everything with me, toddler, and grandma. When I do Genie Plus can I book for everybody?

It seems like Peter Pan’s flight would be a better candidate for Fancy Rides™️ than Space Mountain
Space mountain is filler until TRON opens. Once that happens I almost guarantee it will be a fancy ride and space mountain won’t be anymore.
Not sure if it has been asked/mentioned, but if you have genie+, park hopper, and are going multiple days, can you use genie+ for the same ride in those two days? For example, if you go to magic kingdom and use genie+ for Peter Pan on the first day, then the second day you park hop back to magic kingdom, can you use genie+ for Peter Pan again seeing as you had the service for both days? Or is it a once per trip type deal?
When you laugh in the roller coasters it makes me think of that laughing box in the movie Toys with Robin Williams 😁
I still think Disney should have just adopted Universal’s system. For me it was I stayed at the Hard Rock and got unlimited express pass. Perfect!! I never liked the Disney fast pass system because I never could get the big rides. BUT I’d pay to skip the line at Flight of Passage. That’s about it.

My wife and I are going to Disney World (MG & HS) with another couple. Do you recommend they purchase their own tickets and genie plus so each couple controls it? Or should one person purchase the tickets and genie plus and all 4 use the same? We tend to want to do most things together for the day but I could see us doing some separate activities. Thoughts?
