"Fun" fact: 1:51 The Decimator scene has been censored in this completed episode. In the animatics of this arc, released back in 2015, Watt Tambor actually used a villager to demonstrate the Decimator's powers.

5:07 - I like how _even Anakin_ is looking at Tech like, "Holy _crap_ dude I thought you were the smart one!"

Echo is now what Vader could've been, had Palpatine given him top of line cybernetics; rather than the inferior junk, he had thrown together, to punish him.

Anakin never tries to help the rebellion or take some initiative t fix himself. I honestly have no real sympathy for him once he gets used to the dark side enough to start making his own choices again.

Honestly its wild that Vader is that powerful with like shitty prosthetics and stuff.
Sheev did it to punish him, as you said, but I think also bc he was scared shitless that Vader was gonna overthrow him

This is one person named Echo that I am glad to see in a Disney plus show.

Just about done with the first arc, only one episode to go! While I agree that it does look a little suspicious to people watching this for the first time (I had my suspicions when I initially saw this episode), I think Echo bouncing back so quickly just shows how resilient he is, plus I think it's really sweet that he and Rex immediately start right back up with their friendly banter like they were never apart. It really goes to show the incredible strides this series made to turn the clones from mindless meat robots to real people. It sounds like the Techno Union would fit right in with pretty much all of corporate America with its prioritizing profit margins over everything else, just thought I'd mention it since I'm sure at least one other person will point this out. But, I'm not going to turn this into a political essay, let's just move on to the fun facts for today.
We finally rescued Echo from the Separatists, hooray! He now officially is the last of Domino squad. While it is tough to look at, I want to point out the amazing detail they use in the animation for Echo's emaciated body. It's just another example of how far the animators have come since season 1. We find out that the reptiles that the Poletecs worship are called keeradaks. I don't know it it was intentional or not, but these always looked similar to the beast form that the Son takes in the Mortis arc from season 3; not exactly the same, but they do share similar silhouettes at the very least. We got to see the D1-series aerial droids fly in what will be their final appearance not including a flashback in the next episode.
We get the first and, so far, only appearance of the Decimator droid made by Baktoid Innovations. This small, round droid used "tentacles" of energy from six emitters on its body to search for organic matter; if it finds any with a tentacle, the rest will close in and vaporize said organic matter, otherwise it would switch off after fifteen seconds if no organic matter is found. The last droid type we get to see in this episode is a variant of the octuptarra tri-droid produced by the Techno Union, the octuptarra magna tri-droid. These variants are much larger than the standard combat variant of the droid walker, and these two models in the episode have a unique beam laser cannon not seen on any other tri-droid that has appeared on screen. Both variants actually debuted in Revenge of the Sith, with the smaller combat tri-droid being seen in the background during the battle of Utapau, and the larger magna tri-droid seen briefly on Mygeeto destroying a Republic Unstable Terrain Artillery Transport (UT-AT) shortly before Commander Bacara (CC-1138) (1138 being a reference to THX 1138, George Lucas' first feature film) and the 21st Nova Corps (AKA the Galactic Marines) receive and carry out Order 66 on their Jedi general, Master Ki-Adi-Mundi. The last fact is something I can't believe I never mentioned, the knives that Hunter and the other members of the Bad Batch use. These are special blades known as vibroblade, with these specifically being vibroknives. These weapons had internal generators that caused their blades to vibrate at very high speeds, which would also cause the blade to heat up. This allowed the blades to not only cut through metals, but also to withstand blows from a lightsaber.
Well, I think that does it for this episode. See you guys next week for the last episode of the Bad Batch arc, "Unfinished Business," on Tuesday! 😀

The creature distress call Tech played back was the same sound that green spider-like creature made in the Arena fight in AotC.
    Also, what's creepy.
