"Hey, I watched your video and found it interesting you discussed the cultural significance of hair extensions, particularly referencing the Hamar women. While it's true that the Hamar women do wear intricate hair extensions, it's important to clarify that these extensions are not purely for aesthetic purposes. In the case of the Hamar women, the practice of wearing hair extensions is deeply rooted in their cultural traditions, specifically related to marriage, fertility and social status. The extensions serve as symbolic markers of a woman's stage in life, such as marriage or singleness, and are not simply a fashion choice. I thought it would be helpful to share this information for a more accurate understanding. Keep up the great content, and I look forward to seeing more from you! 😊🌟" #microlocs #trusttheprocess #nevercompare #lovingmycoils oh, #mylocs❤
Thanks for the input! My focus was simply on the fact that they wear extensions. So people here should stop trying to shame people who wear extensions. Now that you have provided more info, perhaps others will feel the need to seek more info or to even verify what we have provided.
Still have to be careful with interlocking especially on thin, low density hair. 2-3 point rotation is usually best because anything more creates too much tension at the root which can cause breakage later on down the line. Also even starting with two strand twists you can prevent them from becoming too large at the bottom as they mature with proper locksmithing during reties…
I’m researching and getting microlocs in June. I follow a channel called Microloc Mastery (founder of microlocs). She is warning of the very things you are talking about….fat ends, correct ways of installing extensions, etc.
Yes I will be doing that. And my loc count is actually 568 not 550. Still working on the curly ends. Need to find a way to secure them. I did dream Locs method but I still lost a lot when I washed my hair. Any suggestions welcome
My hair is thin fine also, I’m ready thinking of getting this done to my hair wit extensions also❤❤to be honest sis, it looks like ur hair ok❤❤❤😂😂people hate it’s ok❤ u look beautiful ❤
Not at all! Honey I hit the jackpot with the Amazon hair. The curl patterns are different and look really nice when blended together. Also, the curl pattern and pic from the betterlocs page can be found on AliExpress.

@@ruthiecarter8977 Which technique did you use for the first install? Why did you remove? Which install are you doing now?
I totally get what you are saying. I took down mine and resized them. I now have smaller Locs and my count is 550 up from 407.
I just completed the front half. I counted about 180 but I was tired so I will count again. I anticipate installing around 450.
Good luck! It’s a long process but totally worth it.

Is there huge difference in quality between the hair from the better locs and other one? Trying to go the cost effective way.
