He eased up because they gave him the "scared women" shtick. I think he was trying to find a way not to hit them and at some point he realized getting his ass kicked isn't going to stop them.

I've always appreciated the performances by the voice actors in this era of DC animated shows. Melissa Joan Hart here gives just the right mix of tone, with bits of boredom, menace, and a few others as well.

Yes, especially with voice acting, it can go both ways; they can make you totally believe in the characters themselves as a person (Mark Hamill's Joker and Kevin Conroy's Batman being prime examples), or you realize who the actor is that's performing the role and still "see" them regardless.
If you ever see the movie _2010,_ the sequel / follow-on to _2001: A Space Odyssey,_ there's the character of SAL, another 9000-series computer. Douglas Rain did such an iconic performance as HAL in _2001_ whoever did SAL would need to match that without exactly duplicating it. In the credits the performer was listed as "Olga Mallsnerd", but it was actually Candice Bergen. I feel she did a great job on it. (I refer you to the IMDB entry for 2010, look under Cameos for the origin of her "Mallsnerd" alias. 🙂)
I loved how they were Harley's grandkids, though I wish we got more of that dynamic. Like how does she feel that her grandkids are glorifying her abuser and willingly in a gang named after him?

As a lot of people have said already, when this movie came out Harley was still either a willing sidekick or just as evil as the Joker. The whole abuse and mind breaking thing came out much, much later.
The DCAU already did that. Episodes like Mad Love show how the relationship is abusive and Harley is the butt of that cruel joke. Beyond pretty clearly has her eventually wise up.

It’s nice to know that Harley Quinn eventually did get away from Joker, meet a guy, date him, marry him and settle down. A nice conclusion to the Harley Chronicles.
They are most likely related to the Joker. Harley and him wanted to have a child and she would never simply leave the life of crime. Another reason is how they are from a dysfunctional family and dedicate themselves to crime.
An opportunity happened that allowed Harley to finally leave the Joker

When I was a little girl, Batman Beyond was one of my favorite shows, but like every other girl, I looked for "baddass women" representation.However, the thing about the Dee Dee Twins was that...they were so brutal and ruthless.Usually, in these types of cartoons, especially in DC ones, you see women villains as sexy, cunning and flirtatious.But the Dee Dee Twins were actually scary, like you could actually feel like they wanted to kill, not just "play", if that makes sense.
This show had quite a number of badass women. Curare being another very good example. Even the Royal Flush queen gave Batman a good beating. He could only beat them all by using his gadgets.

I have terrible news for you, chief. All female villains are sexy. Doesn’t matter how you make them look, act or sound. If there’s an 80% chance of dying mid or after sex, almost every guy is gonna take that chance.
These characters are actually really underrated. if they ever make a Batman beyond life action movie I hope I get to see them.

Terry is an amateur. He doesn't know how to fight unlike Bruce Wayne, Dick Grayson, Tim Drake and Barbara Gordon. He relied too much on his suit. It was only several years later that he became proficient in combat thanks to trainings with Barda, Aquagirl, Steel Hawk and Static Shock.
Terry does know how to fight, he's not a martial arts master, there's a difference.

They're smoking his pack so easily for a reason. Bruce is "these hands are rated E for everyone". Terry doesn't hit girls. Matter of fact, he doesn't really learn how to fight until later on. That, and they're the grandkids of Harley Quinn. She was pretty good at throwing down.
And the last scene. It was really brutal we didn't get to see the full scene i think they killed him
They know how to coordinate and stick their attacks. If it weren't for the suit, Terry would've been massacured. Its like DeeDees have always ALWAYS fought together, and it shows. They clearly have some mingled form of theatre, dance and acrobatic training. Regardless of how Batman decides to fight them, he clearly was not prepared for what the DD's brought to the table..

Wow… the first fight scene highlights the skill and weaknesses of both sides: Terry lets his guard down even though Bruce told him how dangerous and deceptive Gotham’s villains can be which allowed the DeeDee twins to actually overpower him. This is amazing because Batman and his protégées are among the greatest fighters on earth _(if not multiverse, humans in DC are different than us because their bodies and minds can be trained to superhuman levels)_ that being said, Terry still lands many hits on them despite being at such a massive disadvantage because there’s no way rookies could compare to Harley _(who sometimes loses to robins)_
It's even funnier that he got beaten up, because while the "greatest fighters on earth" thing does apply to the him as well, the suit _also_ gives him free super strength, agility, and durability. And some normal teenage girls beat the shit out of him. Terry needs to get his shit together, and also needs to remember that his suit can turn invisible at will lol.

I love how two middle class girls, who weigh 100 pounds sopping wet each, took extensive martial arts classes enough to threaten a grown man and commit vast hyperviolent crime just for the thrill of it. They're not even as crazy as Harley to justify it.
Harely could have trained them plus she got a serum from Ivy so they could have inherited it. Plus Terry's suit damage level probably depends on the threat. Like how he can take blasts from Blight yet struggle with Joker in hand to hand
