You get the same minimalist suspension only effect as these 4 lines if you delete your custom file then run the game. It creates one with just these lines in it. Along with code to stop the wheel thrashing about when stationary. Edited to fix spelling
well not quite but it gets it closer, it is the pure ffb signal.. AC has the ffb from all 4 tires, the suspension and the steering rac.. as i understand this is the actual physics related ffb, every thing else is added effects not directly related to the physics engine
Wow.. with the V1.6 update and the new FFB settings the game feels exactly like what I was looking for, I'm on a thrustmaster TX and I drive the porsche GT3 R 100% a much better driving experience.
I went into my simucube software and just turned down pretty much evrything but a few base sliders. Then in game i set a small amount of low foce boost, like at 2, and turned the fx and dampning on a bit, and it actually feels pretty solid.. Im going to try this tonight and see how it compares
Default costom setup works great for me with 1.6. ffb is a personal matter of feeling.compared to the other sims my ffb Moza5 feels best for me. it takes a while to test, but now it works great in all categories and cars. In the moza software you can also save a separate ffb profile for each category and each car. 1.6 update was great for me. ams2 now my favorit Sim.
I have a moza r5 and my wheel gets incredibnly hot after just 10 mins, like cant even touch the base. I have my wheel speed set at 180 and hands on protection off
@@hp2823 No problem here with Moza5 , its very warm, but not realy hot.I can leave my hand on it at any time .... ffb setting 100%. in game at 90% (its really strong)
For me it has been a great change in the FFB and physics. I'm using Simucube 2 Pro. The only problem I have is that when the car is stopped, the vibrations are unbearable and the whole cockpit vibrates. Do you know how I can correct this so that the car doesn't vibrate when stopped?
Add some damping in ffb settings I run 25 to 30, I also add 6 low force boost and 0 fx I also have simucube pro 2.. SennaMental is my username if you want to try this with my simucube profile
Been using the custom files for 2 years! Prefer the Danielkart V6000 Extreme 3 for 1.6..... Would never agree with anything Gamer Muscle says the guys a joke! Lots of discussion has been had on the FFB you mention on the official forums and it's not all positives especially when you see the amount of work all the other FFB modders are doing
@kevin8798 agreed. He only seems to negatively talk about ANYTHING. I understand being a critical but generally a critic gives feedback - not just shitting on stuff endlessly.
I didn't say I agree with what everything anyone says. That's the beauty of opinion. I really like this ffb file tho, while it's basic, it gives me the turn in, car and tyre feel I've been looking for, I've tried many others with limited success but it's personal taste of course. 👍
For a long time the AMS2 faithful have been saying more difficult doesn’t mean more realistic, I would extend that to more complex doesn’t mean better feedback. Most of the custom files are doing way too much in my opinion, the rack force feels much more clean and feels instantly intuitive.
I agree the guy is a joke. His video on best FFB settings for AC is ridiculous. But this change to custom ffb file, actually makes a huge difference. I still feel everything. With my R12 it feels great. I have gain in Ams2 set to 55 everything else on 0. Moza Pithouse takes care of the rest.
@@scorps0326I did, the weight of the wheel is a bit more pronounced there, tyres less noticeable but overall more like Rfactor (although not as good as RF2).
🔝This change has made AM2 really playable for me. Now it's great fun to drive the curves. I use the Fanatec podium and before with standard or + it was really a joke. Thanks for this tip!
I've been using that custom FFB since I saw his video a few days ago and have been enjoying it.
If you turn up the individual car ffb in car setup to 125% you really feel it

There are better FFB files, this one makes AMS feel just like ffb in AC. No wonder GamerMuscle liked it...
LOLi though something similar when I saw GM publisha video about it. I was using the Rack force before 1.6, now i don't think I need it anymore.

can you show us your Moza Pit House settings also, since that also affects the experience, right?

Do you know why when I apply throttle, it feels laggy and not responsive? Driving me nuts!
Sensitivity pedal settings
That's a specific AMS2 thing (compared to other sims) that has been always been (to me too) an issue.

Totally agree about GamerMuscle. He is only out for 'haters' so people are commenting. He is always negative. Bleh

Did you also try the latest Rfuktor? How do you think that compares to this one?
Sorry I haven't tried it as yet.

No need to backup file as game recreates it if you delete it!
If you want to keep your original settings its a good idea 😉
im on a tspc racer what settings should i use damper etc ?
I am unsure as I haven't used the Tspc sorry.
Thanks a lot, it's very nice with this.
I'm glad you like it
