We guide you through some sampling. Buying and testing samples is great and cost effective way of experience new fragrances.
We look at three fragrances from Pryn Parfum: Ayothaya, Morah and Turkish Leather.
Ayothaya - 2'10
Morah - 5'45
Turkish Leather - 10'00
I bough my samples in the UK from Roullier White, and you can buy samples and full bottles here:

Looking at the Pryn Parfum website it seems Roullier White is the only authorised seller outside of Thailand:

Pryn Parfum is a Thai fragrance company, launched in 2016 by Prin Lomros
Thank you guys!
Glad to see you enjoy my three babies
Prin Lomros certainly did!
All 3 sound amazing, WFTL reviews are my new favourite on youtube and Prin you have a great nose, i wish you much sucess
Rocky Malamute thanks so much!
I would never have known about this house without you guys. Thank you for discovering new stuff!
A pleasure. Sadly Pryn Parfum is no more, big Prin Lomros has two other brands: Prissana and Strangers
@@WaftsfromTheLoft Their website still works for me. Are they really out of business?
Thank you so much for reviewing this house! After your review and toying around with other scents I ordered some samples of this house and Kerosene from Rollier&White. Turkish Leather struck a chord immediately. I just ordered a bottle, just in time for an uplift on a cold rainy alpine day. Many thanks again, the juice and houses you guys review have broadened my horizons. Thank you.
Revisiting this video again- just ordered a 15ml of Turkish Leather.
I’m also keeping a close eye on the currently sold out Morah and Hikari- I appreciate what you guys do.
Thanks for the video chaps, I've just ordered samples of these 3 from RW. Intrigued to smell these.
Greggieboy76 they really are stunners!
@@WaftsfromTheLoft Got the samples Today. WOW!!! Turkish Leather and Ayothaya are immediate full bottle purchases.
Awesome aren’t they? Enjoy!
Gunpowder is because back in time when Ayothaya was thailand’s capital, we had wars we used the big big gun like a lot. Thats why. And in the end Ayothaya was burnt down.
Fernary ah, very interesting to know, thank you.
I love this review. I've only tested the first two as RW were out of stock of Turkish Leather. I found them both absolutely mindblowing. A similar complexity and depth to Liz 's creations at Papillon.
Absolutely! I only recently bought a bottle of Morah, and I just can’t get enough of it at the moment!
You guys really make me want to try them out but i dont know where to get samples. On the website they are sold out. Good work guys.
pietje puk I’ve just had a message from Pryn saying they will restock soon. In the meantime, perhaps Roullier Whie ship internationally? They really are GREAT scents
Thanks for the info.
Love these videos guys - most interesting reviews on youtube. Are there any shops in central london that sell samples from a variety of lesser known houses?
the1big1matt thanks! Yes there certainly are. Bloom, Les senteurs and roullier white all sell samples (I got these from roullier white). Jovoy is another fantastic shop, I know they often give away samples with purchases, so it’s probably possible to buy samples as well; they have a great range
I just ordered the samples from roullier white. I will let you know what i think of it.
thank you very much for hidden gem's
Ali Khan pleasure!
Hello, where can i purchase a sample or full bottle of : Aranyaka Pryn Parfum
I think it may be discontinued, but it maybe worth trying to contact Prin directly, possibly via Instagram
This was very helpful and I hope you may be able to come back to them once you've lived with them and let us know if you still like them as much. After reading the new Perfume Guide I was seriously considering ordering samples from The Zoo, until I worked out it would be around £50 for a set of 6 8ml bottles, and I decided it was too risky. Perfume sampling is such a gamble. I'm much less inclined to experiment than I used to be, which is why I enjoy watching others vicariously! Did you pop into Jovoy and sniff their ambergris?
Ray Ramillies oh yes, certainly have done.
"No goats have been harmed.. Sadly." 🤣
Great job guys! I've sampled this house recently and I thought Morah was the best followed by their three incense offerings. Ayothaya was also very striking and created a strong scent memory with me because it captures the environments of Buddhist Temples in Malaysia very well, the ashy smelling joss sticks, jasmine flowers, the shaded and cool interiors, marble floors and very serene aura. I wouldn't wear it personally but its a beautiful smell and evokes good memories.
I did not like Turkish Leather at all. Its distinctive smelling but very harsh, sour and synthetic on both paper and skin. But I seem to be getting a different experience from everyone. I wonder if I was given the wrong sample.
Aksum isn't as scary as it sounds. It smells to me like resin incense blend to my nose (the ones that you can buy from specialty incense-resin shops). Unfortunately, i don't get any complexity beyond a 2-3 resin note play which makes this scent highly monotonic to me. I do get glimpses of sweetness and brightness (from the flowers, saffron?) that makes their appearance once in a while but its too subtle and vague to sustain any interest. Maybe its my skin, but when a perfume comes with such a high price, i need orchestral complexity at a minimum.
gunmetal24 thanks! where did you try them all? I didn’t find TL synthetic at all, it was so rich and warm, no sourness at all. Perhaps you did receive the wrong sample. All three are absolutely fantastic in my opinion, as you can probably tell from the video. Seriously impressed by this house.
I bought the full sample set from Pyrn Parfum directly :(
I know we all have different scent filters and biases, but when my experience contrast greatly with 99% of people out there, I start to wonder if I might be smelling the wrong thing :)
Just thought of something, if you like Morah, you might want to consider sampling Lolita. They have an exquisite and well done honey dew note in the scent. I was pleasantly surprised by that one.
gunmetal24 thanks for the tip. Roullier White stock several of them, so I think I might take myself down there to try the rest.
There could just be something in TL that disagrees with you. There are some fragrances in which once I’ve detected a note I really dislike I can’t get over. Like the cheap osmanthus in Alien Man; it made me feel sick.
