I’m crying inside right now, because my mother and grandmother had ALL of these patterns and pieces! Had I known then what I know now....😔 But this is why I stress to my two sons(who think my thrifting is ridiculous), that the items I’m collecting will benefit them in the future. Oh, and I love that you added that fun little chart with the patterns that coordinate to the birth years. Fabulous video as always!

Sometimes I re-watch your videos 2-3 times! What a great reinforcement to your "lessons"!! I have YET to list anything on eBay or Etsy, but I did order 18 rolls of packing tape! Haha!! Omg! I am addicted to thrifting! How ironic that is because I decided about a year ago that I would be happy as a Minimalist, so I started downsizing my household goods in order to eventually become a traveling nurse! I even bought a very small RV, so that I couldn't carry a lot of "stuff" with me (thus the name "Asphalt Gypsy")! My house runneth over from "stuff" given to me by relatives that have left this Earth! Boxes and boxes of it! I was overwhelmed by it all! My anxiety levels hit an all-time high! I know that my daughters are praying that I live long enough to sell off all of my recent hauls! Thank you again for everything, Michelle! I am finding so much joy from thrifting!! XOXO

Hi Anna...yup shipping costs same here...that's why I usually shy away from heavy breakables...I don't know if I have the "guts" to list all those SOF casseroles as one lot!! xo :)
it's also crazy expensive to ship to Canada.. unfortunately.
My mother gave me lots of Corningware then my mother-in-law star toned buying it for me also. Needless to say we are a Corningware family.

What a great score to get all that corning and pyrex especially the set with the crock pot it doesnt even look used.I noticed the canisters in the back where they part of the haul.
AHH I should have mentioned the canisters! They were from a previous find and I just fell in love with them...The crockpot does not look used..the inside is perfect!! xo :)

I love the old town pattern, my mom has that pattern. I did not know the callaway ivy mugs came with saucers, now I know! My Pyrex color is flameglo, that is so cool! 👍🏼

Come to think of it I don’t think I remember ever seeing flameglo on my shopping adventures, but it will be fun to keep an eye out for it. 😊

Michelle you're the only one I trust to ask. I've searched today for almost 2 hours to find a reliable website to help date stamps on my vintage corning ware pieces, including mugs. Does a reliable source exist? I'm seeing discrepancies on the sites. Love your videos for around 4 years now, give or take =) you're knowledge is hands down the best on RUclips, I've always said it's because you're passionate about the pieces 🧡

I had some spice of life that I bought new many years ago. I got rid of them when I decided to concentrate on the cornflower blue instead. You got a deal on two pieces and 1 lid for 5.00.
I know! The Cornflower Blue seems to be making a comeback!!! xo :)
I have porcelaine bowls and mug with markings of corning and plates with markings of anchor.
I don’t have to buy any of them as I own them. I got the cornflower as a wedding present 53 years ago. I did get one with the vegetables on them plus several sets of dishes. Guess when we down size I can sell them off.
I have the Spice of Life set, but not the largest one that you have now! Never saw that size before. Love the big green bowl. I miss my mom's set. Hers was a big yellow, then green, then blue and small red...from what I recall! Good finds!

Her set was donated to the American Cancer Society thrift store in the Gainesville area years ago. No spots on any of them! Never put in a dishwasher!

I run the machine that makes Corelle dinner ware. The calaway is fluted ware and I think we still make that pattern. I know we still make the fluted white ware I just don't see the patterns much since I work on the other end of the plant.

Wow. You sound like vintage collector here.... out of all these old 70s and 80s corelle patterns (patterns came out even before I was born in 89), My favorite one are Gold Butterflies and 🍓 Strawberry one from 70s... reminds me of My grandparent's kitchen somehow...... its recommended that these are used for decoration rather than dinnerware sets cause it may contain lead (corelle made before 2005) per corelle website. Anyways, it brings me back to 1970s and 1980s considering they are MINT conditions.. Have you ever heard about Arcopal and Luminarc from France 🇫🇷????

Loved this video, as always. Loved Corning Ware casseroles. I had a 1 1/2 qt. oval in turquoise with a lid and basket. I was my favorite and I used it constantly. Thanks for the video! 😍🌸

I saw one recently on EBay but it didn’t have a basket. I loved the basket because I could make something and easily take it to a pitch-in. People did pitch-ins instead of going out to eat in those days! xo 😁
Always love your videos. Question, do you budget what you will spend in a month or just buy what you find that should resell well? Seems you buy quite a bit, I was just wondering if it balances out for you?
Hi Lisa...I do not have a budget, but just have been an abundance of great finds out there lately! I do need to cut back abit and sell abit more to get ahead..not of what I spend and make..but I am running out of room...its always a catch 22 with me as without thrifting there would be no thriftingl vidoes which I love to do...:)

Bon Jour, Madame Michelle. It's difficult to "parlez vous Francais", isn't it? When I am in France, I have to rely on 7th grade French class. That was a LONG TIME AGO. The French are probably wincing when I speak. LOL!!! So many great finds this week. BTW: Nothing for me on the Pyrex birth chart either. That omission means that we can pick whichever pattern that we want.

I didn't know it was Corning...still learning! Also, just to let you know, I am unable to see what the bottoms read of any of your items. In this video & in many past videos, also. If possible, could you ask the cameraman to zoom in long enough for us just learning? THANK you!

Nope nothing for 1982, but that’s ok cause I love the Art Deco revival Horizon Blue it’s the only Pyrex I collect the rest I buy for resale, then I can buy more jadeite and Depression Glass lol
