the progetto 66 ist probably one of the most slept on heavies in the game. the mobility combined with that clip potential lets you do crazy things.
It’s very good but the grind to the top gun is a slog.
Eh? Mobility is average at best, has no armor and atrocious DPM.

@@youtubiak the point is that you can take out enemies very quickly. it's not that important that your dpm is gimped, because the enemy has -1 gun in the battle while you are still able to shoot.
Extremely underrated. I marked it some time ago already. If Rino was somewhat similar, it would be way more fun to play.
Got to love players like the PTA, two teammates left alive, 3 enemies spotted around that one remaining teammate, drives to otherside of the map and dies. Calls team noobs..... If he had come back and played the corner or just played support near Iyouxin, the game is won easily.
The best tier IX grinding experience ever for me.
It's solid, it doesn't seem to suffer the horrible DPM like the tier 10 and originally tier for tier it was better hull down though the Rino has since been buffed.
Nowadays the progetto can't play hulldown with confidence tho, anything above 300 mm pen can hit you straight in the face

Using 2nd gun because more versatile and "surprises ennemy" with 4 shells.
-0.5 intra clip, less reload time, - dispersion VS more aimtime, -80 alpha.

I wish they would shave off 1.5 -2 seconds off the rinos reload. Make the tank actually playable

İ have RINO and progetto 66 in my garage. İ love to play with the them. Easy to hit 3-5k also 260-279e missions

I managed to get 10k damage with it on Prokhorovka. But the gun actually worked and enemies + my team were kinda bad. 😁

Can anyone help. I am stuck on the connecting screen of the WOT Client and the connecting bar is full. I have tried the recovery file, loading the client in safe mode, and reinstalling the game. I am using a VPN cuz i'm in China rn for a trip and the VPN has been working for me for over 2 years.

i stopped on the progetto 66 since everyone says rhino is so bad. 66 is my fav heavy. but i cant stand slow tanks. and im not able to make the armor work good :)
Rino just become borderline TD bro. Can snipe with good alpha. Other than HP the rest is no better than tier IX.

Nah man, this tank sucks, it's just you playing well on them.
I would say it is ok, good even, but the problem is that progetto 66 is too balanced. It is a pure tier 9, not tier 9.5 like amx, not tier 10-11 like conq that are marked as tier 9 tanks. It is out-shinned by other heavies of the same tier, that's it. To make it competitive, it should have something around 2400-2500 dpm like IS-3-2 has, so you would have around 9.5-10 second reload on you first shell, the second could have 11.5 and the last one 12.5-13 second reload. Also, the reverse speed should be buffed to 15. With this changes, it still would be a good tank, not OP, but much more viable
