Celebrating the 33rd Nepali Bhasha Manyata Diwas at Government Secondary School, Zoom :
Today, Government Secondary School, Zoom, proudly celebrated the 33rd Nepali Bhasha Manyata Diwas with great enthusiasm and reverence. The event was graced by our esteemed Guest of Honour, Retired Teacher Shri Subhadhan Rai, whose presence added a touch of inspiration and pride to the occasion.
The program was beautifully hosted by Smt. Rita Biswa, who warmly welcomed all the school staff, students, and the Guest of Honour. Mr. Santosh Rai also extended a heartfelt welcome to everyone present.
The event featured a variety of engaging activities, including a Poem Recitation by Mr. Laxmi Sir, who delivered a touching piece on the theme of "Ama," capturing the essence of motherhood. The day's competitions included Poem Recitation, Essay Writing, Poster Making, Quiz, and Debate, showcasing the talents of our students. Additionally, the Nursery and Senior students captivated the audience with their dance performances.
The program was conducted under the able supervision of our School Headmaster, Shri Pranoy Subba, ensuring its smooth and successful completion. Special mentions to Smt. Indra Kala Biswa, who conducted the Nepali Quiz Competition, and Mr. Bijoy Rai, who led the Debate Competition with great efficiency.
The day was filled with excitement and joy, as both students and staff participated actively and enjoyed the festivities. Our Guest of Honour, Shri Subhadhan Rai, delivered an inspiring speech, motivating the students to embrace the significance of the Nepali language. The School Headmaster also highlighted the importance of preserving and promoting our linguistic heritage.
A special presentation on the history of the Nepali language was shared by the respected Shri Saroj Rai, enriching the audience with knowledge and insights.
The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Mr. Sangem Rai, who expressed gratitude to all the school staff and the Guest of Honour for making the celebration a memorable one.
