Hello, i just wanted to say that manual transmission allows you to go over the red limiter, but it makes your camera shake a lot more and it's really useful in some cars like the m3 for the straights (in normal carbon the m3 automatic goes up to 320 km/h, but in manual goes to 350 km/h), and in some corners you can leave faster or simply turn better becouse of the extra torque, be sure to practice becouse not every car has the same ''actual limit'' Idk if it works on this mod but i hope you find this useful, Nice video and sorry for my english
The mod actually buffed its car's transmission. Meaning that I don't have to use manual gearbox just to go above the limit. Either way it'd be hard to reach +380km/h on twisty roads in Palmont. edit// I know about the bugged manual transmission thing. I don't use it because it doesn't shift quickly enough in some cases. Although the bug should work in the same way
Imagine this track appeared in Quick Race, and can race up to 127 laps. NFS Carbon Endurance?? Not to mention each lap is as long as the Isle of Man circuit, possibly even longer.

The performance of all vehicles in Carbon were toned down from Most Wanted since the roads are much tighter, so if I had to guess, it was to make sure it was balanced with everything else in the game, but tbh it makes the M3 one of the weaker T3 Exotic vehicles in the game.

How did you unlocked the endgame race? I'm at 98% of the game with all areas and races completed (there is 1 speedtrap that I can't complete because it crashes my game at the ending of the race) Do I need to use ExtOptions to unlock everything or I'm doing something wrong?
complete every single race on the map, if you don't see all races on the map, go map and press space (SHOW ALL RACES) and complete those you haven't finished yet about the event crash: have you tried to update/reinstall the game along with the mod?
@@Mika26B I reinstalled it 3 times and still crashing in the same race (It's the "Preseli View" speedtrap here: imgur.com/a/C9PE8eh ) I already did the "show more races" thing because this is how I play with this mod (I know about the race icon problems) I literaly did all the races in all areas, all 5 race wars, the only problem is that event I'm using carbon battle royale v1.1.3 btw
How did you get the "extended cameras' and 'battle royale' mods to work together? Battle royale seems to revert extended cameras if I install extended cameras first, while applying battle royale first makes it so that nfs-vlted doesn't recognise my game installation, so I can't install the camera mod... Sorry if the question is a bit irrelevant, but seeing it work here dumbfounds me ._.
ever since the BR mod moved to the Binary modding, making the game not moddable via VLT-ed (once you install the BR), you have to install all other mods but at the end leave the Battle Royale.
@@Mika26B Ah, thank you for the insight! I wasn't aware of the mod's history and that it got transferred, like that I just wanted to replay Carbon again and thought about spicing it up a bit. Extended cameras is a really fun mod (thanks for that too by the way, this video is where I learnt about it), it makes the game feel so much faster and better to play, so I really want it to work... Maybe I'll take a look at an older version of the battle royale mod and hope it's not too deprecated :F

it's not in OP state, it recieved a relatively high downforce at the cost of high speed acceleration - it's fairly balanced

you should take into consideration that was like years ago before mod makers transferred to Binary.

You cqn always stop exactly before the finish line. It will trigger the "too close" timer and you will win the race

Is the M3 you're using a modded one and not from endgame? I can't customize the vinyl to be remove at all
the m3 in the video is customizable (vinyls, rims, wings but bugged though, paint and performance data, provided by battle royale creators)
