I just realized that the camera looking thing around the singers waist is a projector that makes the heart on his chest. Thats why its not there when it rains and neither is the heart, and thats why you can hardly see the heart anytime but in the dark.
Absolutely fabulous introduction with a tremendous richness in sounds. Very warm feeling i find despite the fact that the singer is getting absolutely drenched.
knew about this because when I asked the stranger from omegle what kind of music they like, they mentioned this. fast forward 5 years after im still listening to this.
Haven't listened to this band in forever. Had Surrender on an old playlist, after snooping through it decided to check out their new stuff. Glad I did. Good shit.
Such a killer track. Every time I hear that fuzz/synth bass line it just reminds me of something Regurgitator would've had on the Unit album but mixed with the usual BPM vibe. Great song with some awesome chord progression transitions and just a awesome sound overall.
Oh man Ball Park are almost on their way to making 1million views for the first time. This deserves 10million and their other music but glad they're underrated. #BallPark1mill :)
The guy at 1:58 holding the gum ball machine was wearing the radest sweater today at SXSW -- it had burgers and fries on it. Also, they're awesome live!
That's the genius of the sweet melodies in this song. There is a discrepancy where the chorus begins here! It's tricky, calculated! I love it. The chorus is longer progression that you know. "If she wants this to be, she'll have to see the things that I have had to see! Maybe she would know, maybe she would care. She only loves me when I'm there." Now listen to this song with this in mind and you will so love it as much as I do. A sickly sweet riff and melody enriched diddy that I thought I would've got sick of by now. I have flogged it for 8 months.
Saw them live last night and this has to be my fav song of theirs...however, does anyone else feel that its too short? I dislike the fact that the awesome chorus is only sung once fully (the first time it is sung) and then whenever it is repeated they cut it short or do not give the full emotional output as when it is sung the first time. Guess I'll just have to take a grab of that first chorus and put it on repeat.
Lyrics: Guildford, Guildford holy mother of Helen, Jesus in the architraves Waiting, waiting, comes to take all my misery away, at least for now Kelvin get a holy figure we can work it out (1, 2, 3, 4) It must be 5 years ago now Skulking home one public holiday Eighteen, eighteen, baby brains Got the nervous twitching algorithms right beneath the trees Yeah, half expecting knuckles now to bring me to my knees If she wants this to be She'll have to see the things I have had to see Maybe she would know Maybe she would care She only loves me when i'm there It must be five years ago now My trimester public holiday Eighteen crack these oysters open She can be forgiven but she doesn't go away Yeah, see her on the bus, man, see her everyday I don't want to live like this anymore, kid I don't want to live like this anymore (2, 3, 4) Nervous twitching algorithms right beneath the trees Yeah half expecting knuckles now to bring me to my knees

Best song I’ve heard in ages. Ethereal.
