NO JOKE I'd never heard of them befor until I saw a movie preview years ago in the theater for a movie called; "only God forgives" with Ryan Gosling and the whole preview was Suuns ; "20/20" playing (movie got pretty much trashed by critics but I liked it but had never heard anything like their 20/20 before and it entranced me ,..researched and searched like crazy to find the Suuns after and OBSESSED with their sound and beat since !!! I've watched this entire video probably 30 times in my home Bose cranked to 98% output and then a good 20 times int the car!!!! I'm an40 year old single dad of 3 baby girls and they ALL LOve the Suuns too!!!! Lol. The sound quality from this outdoor is INSANE!!!!! Don't know anything about recording but whatever and however they did it it's PERFECTION!!!! And uhhh couldn't get over Moby head-bobbin the whole time!!lolol did a double take when it showed him! Made me feel better first time I saw it becaue everytime it showed him i was literally mirroring his head-bob lol he apparently knows good sound!!! Not sure what the back story is on this venue/event or where it is,..looks like Eastern Europe by the people but could be SO far off? The vide reminds me of those 1960's-70's live videos showing the Hippies and music lovers of the generation sitting so calmly in the zone feeling it lol! looking for tour dates now to see if any are even remotely close to Utah , USA . Lol no clue but not likely. What an awesome group and sound!!
Glad you like it so much! Absolutely incredible band indeed. Sound outside is always tricky, but we're very happy with how it turned out. The event is a festival called Into The Great Wide Open on a small island in The Netherlands called Vlieland. We film sessions with different artists all over the island.
The constant head bob! Love it!! I didn't a triple take when I first saw this lol. He knows what's good . Was he behind the video /audio production ANY idea? He sound is EPiC!!! For a live,..or studio version for that matter!!! Unreal!!!
