Elder and Humans do that alot vs Chaos and Tyranids. Also there's a Necron lord (Trazyn) who 'collects' different aliens. During the fall of Cadia he helped the Imperium of Man when he released one of his 'zoos' onto the planet to help fight the Chaos army. Around the same time he also Kidnapped Lord Castellan Creed. Off topic still but he also had a pet Tyranid Hive fleet at one point but was forced to get rid of it after a number of bioforms escaped and had to be killed.
I like the use of Space Engine's flyby of Ceres @ 1:07 as a description of a Tyranid-stripped world. Quite effective! Your video editing skills are on point Gursh1 - keep them coming!
This makes me wonder if the Imperium should start installing some super-bombs into the cores of their worlds that are close to where the Tyranids hunt? That way if a Tyranid invasion is successful and the planet gets overrun, they can turn the planet into a suicide bomber and go self-exterminatus. That would not only wipe out much of the Tyranid force trying to devour it but also deprive them of precious biomatter.
just the usual stuff. the blueberries tried to sell the Nids some fine caffeine makers, asked them if they are allowed to build a small trading outpost with a few armed fire warriors to defend their interests...and were eaten.
Suggestions: 1) Sanctioned xenos in the Imperium (Very few but they exist) 2) Mental illnesses, psychic powers and Chaos corruption. It is a shame I didn't found anything with that thematic in 40k because it could be very interesting. 3) What if there was a planet populated by pariah gene bearers only?
Isn’t Inquisitor Ravenor fighting them after going through the warp gate to meet his nemesis earlier than this? Even though they aren’t called Tyranids it’s strongly implied That’s what they are.
"Administratum here, why did you call?" "There are horrible xenos coming, devouring entire worlds!!" "Thank you for calling, I'll type this down on my invisable typewriter...."
So... In some of the older codexes, there are images of marines or imperial army/navy officers with what looks like small Raptors or dinosaurs which later were explained to be early tyranids, yeah? So does that mean that contact was made prior and we're not covering that...? Or are we only counting violent encounters?
Wasn't one of the ravenor books them going back through time and one of the things that they find is very clearly specified to be "The Great Devourer" aka the tyranids?
I think it’s just the codexs that have given us little blurbs here and there about. I think the book about the Tyranid invasion of macrag has a quick recap but we don’t have anything about the fight for Tyran itself that I can recall
Micheal 5 which book is that? I’m trying to get into the books for the 1st time and I kind of wanted to start with the tyranids for some reason. I’ve already got a pretty firm grasp on the lore now looking for a good read
Alex K warriors of ultramar i think is the one. Then theres the devastation of baal which is the invasion of baal and the nids fighting a combined force of every blood angels chapter. Those are two of the better books that stuck with me.
My Fan Theory was the Andromeda galaxy (closest galaxy to the Milky Way). The Emperor, in his great wisdom, knew of the Tyranids, and sent 1 or 2 of the twenty original Primarchs, and their entire Legions with Imperial Guard and Martian support fleets, to the nearby galaxy to blunt and slow down the Tyranid invasion that would inevitably come. The distance is so vast it makes sense that just now, the main force of Nids is approaching the outer fringes. The two (or 1) Legions and brave human warriors held as long as they could, entire generations of warriors growing up fighting and dying in the Andromeda galaxy and the void between that and the Milky Way. Settlements and small kingdoms were established on planets that were not ravaged and barren. But two (or 1) Legions and Billions of Guard were still not enough to stop it, only delay and distract. The Legions may (if even alive) return to the Imperium soon, all but spent in strength, to warn those that have been ignorant to the threat.
I don't give a shit what they say. You take something like BB, and send it skipping along down range at 1%C and Mr Nid is going to have a bad day. Him and his entire fleet.
Suggestion: Times when factions have teamed up to fight a common foe.

First encounter with the necrons not sure if it's been done, it's a pretty epic battle

Can you do a video when tau encountered the tyranids that seems to be unclear of what exactly happens
They were saved by the dark eldar. Who then raped the tau
just the usual stuff. the blueberries tried to sell the Nids some fine caffeine makers, asked them if they are allowed to build a small trading outpost with a few armed fire warriors to defend their interests...and were eaten.
Suggestion: First encounter of warp travel (yes I know it doesn't count)
The first warp travel happened a long time ago. Maybe even pre golden age
Suggestions:
1) Sanctioned xenos in the Imperium (Very few but they exist)
2) Mental illnesses, psychic powers and Chaos corruption. It is a shame I didn't found anything with that thematic in 40k because it could be very interesting.

"Administratum here, why did you call?" "There are horrible xenos coming, devouring entire worlds!!" "Thank you for calling, I'll type this down on my invisable typewriter...."

Suggestion: Boarding of Vangeful Spirit by the Emperor and loyalist forces

Question: which book is the first tyranid invasion in?
I think it’s just the codexs that have given us little blurbs here and there about. I think the book about the Tyranid invasion of macrag has a quick recap but we don’t have anything about the fight for Tyran itself that I can recall
Codex: Tyranids, 2e (1995) contains much of the Tyran invasion detail mentioned hear.

Suggestion: The Tau’s first encounter with the Tyrinids. To watch the Tau cowerer from something so horrific would be a real rip snorter.
8:50

I really like tyranid stories
I don't give a shit what they say. You take something like BB, and send it skipping along down range at 1%C and Mr Nid is going to have a bad day. Him and his entire fleet.
Suggestion: tyranids
7:27 - From a planet full of Rambos.
This was a good one.
Out of curiosity, where did you get the footage of the hive fleet from? Is it a game?
Guessing thats from Battlefleet gothic 2
Hey dudes. Can you make a video about the Lucifer Blacks?
Question: If tyranids invade a planet, whats Happening with all the Trash on the Planet? And do they die If Consuming it?
Tyranids eat everything, including the core and all minerals. They break it all down in superstring acid
Suggestion: tau warships
Hive mind is scary
Suggestion: tau
