I find it funny that you outright told Boogie that you suspected he was a manipulator, and the first damn thing he does is try to manipulate you. Could he have been any more blatant and transparent about it?
Boogie is absolutely an emotional abuser. Emotional abusers often say that it's just depression symptoms, and people believe them without raising further questions. Boogie threatens suicide weekly now, if not more frequently. He's always the victim, he guilts his fans (who are mostly young from what I can tell), everything is everyone's fault except his own, he has taken no steps to get well despite having plenty of time and money, he kisses the ass of other RUclipsrs who call him out and always ends his brow-nosing with "love ya

Same here. My friend's ex would threaten suicide almost every weekend to keep him from his friends and family. One time he was so sick of her shit that he told her to do it already and she took a handful of allergy pills in front of us. When he didn't care she spit them out. I called the police and left. Disgusting behavior on all sides.
Seriously, can you two watch something unbiased on him before coming to hateful conclusions so quickly.

It infuriates me because my mom suffered helping him thru so many things. He yelled at her and would say he was a piece of trash and didn’t deserve love later on to make us feel pity. The same as my grandma, she will tell us “don’t come to my funeral I don’t deserve to be buried.” And so much more. Lmao they don’t like me cuz I only “Ok.”

If Boogie had a PR person, the first thing they'd do is take over his Twitter account.
Letting a PR agency control his social media presence would render it dull and staid because it wouldn't do anything even remotely controversial.
One time I replied to his Twitter by saying "dude, you fucked up, just own up to it" 10 minutes later I was blocked.

Carter Wright past behavior is a strong indicator of future behavior. He mocked the Etika situation and then back pedaled. Then when it came out he committed suicide Boogie proclaimed himself the “Titan of strength” and centered it about himself. Ironic since he threatens self harm and suicide publicly a few times a month. He’s Chernobyl level toxic imo.

Didn't have your patience and had to speed up the vid, I'm sure you'll get a lot (keep getting) hate from his sheep over releasing the DMs but when someone talks suicide it's more dangerous to keep things hidden. You made the right call and if he does do something stupid it's his choice and not a consequence of this interaction.
Honestly, this truly shows your character and who you are. I really love when you get deep down and personal. There's a lot of important messages about life that anybody can use. Very inspirational.

He's not just an emotional abuser, he's also a complete Narcissist. And this is coming from someone who originally liked him.
I like the textbook pathological lying behavior Boogie displays, he's always on guard, always quick to get offended and cares more about criticism BECAUSE most of what he says isn't true and he'll always feel like people are calling him out on it.
It's a really crappy way to live if you think about it, but he's dug that hole for himself - the problem is that he's so narcissistic he can't admit that and just blames everyone else. I'm pretty sure he was never molested and most of the things he uses to play the victim card are actually lies to gather sympathy.
Whenever his real personality comes to the surface he immediately gets shit for it, so ofcourse he's going to try and pretend to be someone else.
Hi, I'm a sociopath (diagnosed ASPD + Psychopathic Features) and I just want to say that if I ever felt like participating as a public figure I would do it exactly the way Boogie has. There's a persona that's tailored for the audience of every platform he uses. I would probably be a bit more subtle about it, though. In fact, his entire dialogue with you reeks of really simple manipulation tactics in every message and there's no real craftsmanship in any of it.
Something else I notice is his continuous evasion of personal responsibility, and his usage of guilt-tripping. I would, absolutely without a doubt, be playing the sympathy card constantly if I was fat. Mental health issues are a great way to excuse scummy behavior any time I get too bold. That's clearly what he's doing, too. I have seen genuine sorrow and genuine conversations on mental health, and Boogie's is obvious fakery. Again, he's not even being stylish about it, the transparency of the situation hits me in the face like a brick. That might just be because I'm used to dealing in manipulation so much, though.
I think you're right. He seems afraid of his fans. It seems to go beyond just the criticism being a threat to his career. If I were Boogie, I would have never engaged in a conversation with you, especially not for that length of time. It's clear people are picking up on how he doesn't really comprehend or care about the feelings of people who aren't him, such as the example you gave with depression. This doesn't really happen in people with ASPD. To me, these are the clear signs of a fragile narcissist. This is also probably why his manipulation lacks any style or depth, he's doing it less out of pragmatism and more out of insecurity.
This doesn't mean all of his pity-seeking behavior is genuine, though. What he really craves is positive attention. It's probably why the differences in his personas are so extreme: the more he tailors his personas to the medium the more positive attention he gets. It's also probably why he didn't stop talking to you, even after saying he was going to multiple times.
To be fair, NPD is still a mental health problem. If he's suffering from it, he does need to get help before he continues to self-destruct. That doesn't mean we should tolerate his exploitation, but it does mean that we have a better understanding of where it's coming from.
He is a cluster B for sure. But imo he has Borderline Personality Disorder
What kind of help? He has all the money in the world. He has therapy. He has medication.

Sociopaths are opposite of pyschopaths in that sociopaths have a conscience, understand what empathy is and know what they are doing is wrong when they commit wrong - they understand what the other person is feeling when they hurt them (they just don't care, as their care for themselves is what matters most). Pyschopaths do not have a conscience, nor understand empathy, nor feel remorse or guilt.
So how the fuck is one a sociopath "with psychopathic features?" That makes no sense.
@@anti-ethniccleansing465 Here's a fun fact for you: "Sociopath" doesn't actually have one clearly-defined meaning. It's been used to refer to several different things. Here I'm using it to refer to Antisocial Personality Disorder.
All distinctions between sociopathy and psychopathy are personal distinctions and have no basis in clinical psychology or criminology. Originally, the term "sociopath" was meant to replace the term "psychopath." Then it was applied to alcoholics and autists, people who differed from the sense of right and wrong, "made" psychopaths, people with secondary psychopathic traits, and so on. These aren't all one unified definition, they're all separate distinctions, and most people with ASPD or psychopathy will be a sociopath in one definition but a psychopath in another.
There isn't an agreed-upon distinction between the two terms. Don't "um actually" the person that's diagnosed. It just makes you look stupid.
Edit: So, if you must know, I have Antisocial Personality Disorder with psychopathic features. The "psychopathic features" refers to bold fearlessness and glibness, as many people with ASPD can suffer from anxiety disorders or act rude and trashy. It's a distinction that's important in treatment, and while it isn't found in the DSM it is found in companion guides to the DSM. Go ahead, look it up.
@x__cv Sociopaths lack an inherent moral compass, because most people go by feelings of empathy or guilt and feel the need to conform to externally-imposed moral systems. That doesn't mean sociopaths all lack morals. In fact, most treatments for ASPD and psychopathy include teaching a set of ethics like utilitarianism, and explaining the benefits of pro-social behavior.
The idea that all sociopaths are immoral and stupid is just a stigma of pop culture. I mean, I was pretty immoral before therapy and I'm still riding the gray line, but I'm doing my best ya fuckin' cuck. I know it's more comfortable for you empaths to believe that some people are just "inherently evil," but the real world is a bit more complicated than that. "Sociopath" is now used as a word to dismiss anyone who acts against the speaker's morality, whether that person qualifies for ASPD or not, as a way for people to fool themselves into thinking regular people aren't capable of atrocities.
Well, I have news for you. Most sociopaths end up in and out of prison for petty crimes, and most psychopaths live fairly normal lives. The vast majority of atrocities are carried out by fairly regular people. And politics and law are actually pretty terrible fields for psychopaths and sociopaths, because they require too much self-control.
But nobody gives a shit about sociopaths, because people assume that the stigma doesn't affect them. My psychiatrist has to lie to my insurance company about what I'm being treated for and I can't talk about my struggle with homicidal ideation or pathological lying to others because they aren't "socially acceptable" mental health issues since jackasses like you automatically label every sociopath as evil incarnate. But it doesn't matter, I'm a sociopath. Who cares? If I go down, it's a cause for celebration!

I'm not interested in insulting or arguing with you. We can agree to disagree but for people that have followed this, we never questioned it at first but as time went on and he revealed to lie about nearly everything, his weight, his dietary practices, his purchase and abuse of sugar babies (impoverishing them then basically enslaving lucy, making her do his errands and giving her second hand toys as "payment" and at most $20 after preventing her from working but still getting his "end of the bargain" (HAMS).
I think if anyone is sheltered in this situation it's you as you can't see his actions. But I give you my sympathy and understanding since you seem passionate about supporting victims, though this man is not one.

Your comments section is going to be mostly cancer because you're a woman criticizing Boogie. The few men that have called him out? They rarely catch hell for it. Most of Boogie's fans seem to be angry children. In regards to Kiwi Farms, yeah there are some jackasses on there, but ultimately the busiest threads are about people who are literally criminals who should be in jail. Scammers, animal abusers, pedos, seriously awful people. And a good number of those members work to archive everything. I think all that archiving is a good thing, especially when there's threads exposing people like Boogie, who spend years building up a fake persona so they can make easy RUclips bux and waste it all on plastic toys and video games that they never play instead of paying for therapy.
Great video, one criticism though is to leave up the messages a little longer. I was trying to read them and had to pause or even go back on the video and pause to read them.

I don't believe he takes Reddit and Kiwi Farms that seriously, nor do I believe he has any intention of committing suicide. I think these are pure manipulation tactics to guilt people who criticize him and risk tarnishing the false image of himself he's worked so hard to construct.

Steven has a compelling story -- overcoming abuse, becoming internet famous, etc. But somehow that's never enough for him -- he didn't just have weight loss surgery, he is A MODEL OF HEALTH AND WEIGHT LOSS SUCCESS. Even though, by his own admission, he has given up on making any substantive lifestyle changes regarding diet and exercise. This really bothers me, because it's a very dangerous message to others. He's basically telling people struggling with their weight getting WLS and not following through with _anything_ else is A-OK.
Also, be a Sugar Daddy all you want but calling a woman a "gold-digger" after you paid her for companionship is just gross.
Don't forget that he didn't get his teeth fixed until a dentist offered to do it for free in exchange for exposure. He had the money to get that taken care of for years, and didn't. He'll probably have sagging skin until a cosmetic surgeon offers to take care of that for free as well.

I could have missed it, but looking through the DM conversation off of the Google Drive I didn't see an instance where you explicitly told Boogie the deal mentioned throughout the vid where he needs to stay off of social media in exchange for keeping the convo private. You did suggest multiple times that he should avoid social media for a few days but never in connection with a deal regarding your conversation. I think you need to be more clear about these type of deals if you end up doing this again in the future as others may not be as forgiving and make your life hell with lawyers and take down claims despite you doing nothing legally wrong. That said, your advice seemed spot on and its a shame he refused to listen.

His origin videos are probably the most cringe, condescending rubbish I have ever seen on the internet. I can’t believe anyone over the age of 12 would take them seriously, they are so contrived and badly acted, scenarios used so he can get his manipulations across, he even digs at his ex wife using his dead abusive mother. The guy is a wreck but I can’t sympathise unless he admits what he is.

So here's the thing about people with certain mental health issues, and this whole "chronic manipulator" thing. I have also been told things like I am abussive, manipulative, etc, due to situations such as my high anxiety, panic disorders, and the constant fear of "something bad is going to happen" and my attempts to force my way through what I percieve as a bad situation.
This isn't excusing the behavior, but it is explaining how people with very serious mental health issues can be manipulative because of their perception of how the world really is. Many are very much aware of it and feel they're trying to be decent people.
The problem with Boogie is that he comes from a background of "edgy is cool" and has built up a reputation surrounding that character of "Francis" which, even he has admitted is a part of his own self. I enjoyed the video EyeofSol, if you are getting crap for it then you know you are doing something right. I still watch Boogie's content but the veil has been lifted over the last year with all the crap he comes out with. Will he go through with it? Necro as fuck, but him bringing up the pedohphile thing is another form of gaslighting. He's hyper focusing the conversation on something that has pretty weak evidence and can't be easily proven. He doesn't want to defend his interaction with fans, and his current behavior on Twitter because it's indefensible. There's no other way to interpret his fan interactions. There's no other interpretation of him threatening suicide as a way to deflect criticism. If he can show that the "mob" is wrong about him fucking kids, then by extension their other claims are bogus.
Also, his choice of words towards your only positive response seems super telling. He'd love he could change your mind about him, but if he did, and he couldn't change everyone elses mind, then the whole thing is moot. He only cares about the negative response because it challenges his psyche and image. Once you're in line with what he thinks and one of his supporters, he no longer cares about you.
I would also argue he knew exactly who you are. I think it's why he didn't mute you. He probably went to your Twitter, saw some identifying info, and started digging. And not to be negative towards you in any way, but I don't doubt that your gender played some ultimate part in it. Boogie clearly doesn't respect anyone, but I feel like this extends even further with the opposite sex.

Just to nitpick a couple of things : If you say you're not going to do something and you do it anyways that makes you untrustworthy and a liar. Regardless if he agreed to your terms or not and followed through with them or didn't. You're only as good as your word and you pretty much trashed that. He's also had offers for help during his entire time on RUclips, and when one of his suicide threats led to a wellness check he got pissed off and whined about it for days. Just discovered the video (reposted by some dude with a much smaller channel, and it took me some time to discover the original creator's page), and enjoyed it. Sol came across a little harsh in her criticism of Boogie, but she at least seemed sincere in her convictions and was well spoken, so this long monologue I found entertaining and insightful.
