A Tribute to Thomas Cleary

We invited some of our friends to read a bit from the Flower Ornament Scripture as a tribute to the late great translator Thomas Cleary. We recommend full screen, turned up loud, and give yourself the space to really listen.

He was an excellent writer and translator! I've got so many of his books and appreciate what he did. I am saddened by his death. His books touched many people.

For such a prolific author, he rarely did book talks, I was lucky to be at one of them around 1992 for his Shobogenzo book. It is sad he left us without an autobiography. Gassho.

My heart sank when I saw this. The man was a GENIUS. NOONE did more to bring the wisdom of the East to the West. He did a second PhD in Law. We have lost a Gem!!!

Ph. D in Law? Is it really necessary for him?ONLY ONE BOOK(The Secret of Golden Flower) IS MORE THAN ENOUGH FOR HIS LIFE BECAUSE IT NEEDS MUCH MORE knowledge than law or any other sciences.The book is the most difficult workpiece , it is tranlated from ancient Chinese into English!

His writings and translations will profoundly impact the west in ways that we don't yet understand. Thank you learned Mr.Thomas Cleary's Golder Flower as the best translation, we can learn so much from it and he corrected so many mistranslations and serious misleading of the Taoism/Buddhism by Whilam and Carl Jung.
QE(quantum entrainment) technique by Dr. Frank Kinslow is much simpler Qigong/chikung to go to deepest meditation until hypnosis. We can do online therapy by QE technique.
