Thought it was against Amazon TOS to use their images unless as a direct link. Easy way to get your complete account banned. Unless things have changed?
Yes I thought the same and its probably, right! I Have been doing it for 2 years not had issues thus far. I make sure every picture is always linked to the direct product. If Amazon had better pictures via embeds we wouldnt need to do it. I am in the business of marketing products properly, if its a bad picture it wont get clicks, simple as. If they close my affiliation its no worries Ill just find a different affiliate scheme. :) I dont like half measures, working my butt off to then put out bad quality pics and dissuade clicks because of bad integration. Hope that makes sense.
@@theodoreramwell It does and I know where you are coming from. There are not many good affiliate options out there that match Amazon for ease of use, and most people want to buy from them. Personally, I do not alter the images as I have 5 websites. To lose them all would be a massive blow. People buy from the big three, Amazon, best buy etc. It is always easier to say than do, but that is your risk. It is shit that they do not allow you to use their images, but better to be safe than sorry...
