As advertised - its all just right there in the instrument. having same fun making house, and synthwave groove now. Fluent with the instrument bro! smooth beat!
btw, you can use the big encoder to skim through events. much faster than using the arrow buttons. you can also use the small encoders to select the patterns in ideas view. again - much faster than selecting patterns using the pattern selector.
Soooo I just copped an Akia Force for $600! I was gonna hey the + but having the MK3 it just didn’t seem wise to give up soo much just to be standalone. However, if I don’t like the Force I’ll sell it and the MK3 and for the +
Sup brah. I had just bought this too, to replace my MPC that was now, not to be in my possession, seen this way less than worth, and said let’s go. Man.xzzz I wish I got the Akia product I intended to buy. But all can do is use um. But you just got me hyped to figure this out cause this is fire for on the spot. Mad ❤️ from the HI
Im looking to buy my first beat maker. Ive done research and heard that NI has the best sounds and instruments in the game. I'm more into hip hop and house music. Would this machine be better than the mpc? Your reply would be very helpful. By the way fire ass beat. Keep up the great work!
The only thing that get me is the typing I like to label everything and if I’m on the go that will be a headache I see. But loving the + can’t wait to get my hands on 1
so this may be a dumb question but I'm new so please bare with me , I noticed when you 1st started it was 1 bar and when you recorded the melody it turned into 2 bars , does it automatically do that if you keep recording or did you duplicate the drums to keep extending the beat out
Hey how many audio tracks can we load up? And what is the lenght for each? Lets say I want to record my external synths or vocals onto several tracks!? Cheers
Oh yeah would you say it's easier to have beat already arranged when puting in daw. I'm so use to exporting as loops then arrange it. Guess I feel like what if I need do more editing the loop. But I guess there no difference
@@DDS825 for me personally, I’d like to see the song mode and arranger mode explained, this video did actually help me a lot, there is more I’d like to see but that’s probably because I’m a first time user, a noob to Maschine but I am fully loving mine so far, the workflow is beyond what I was originally working with
I like the pattern style over what the MPC has. You can't really complete a song on the MPC sadly. I've gotten to the point where I just do one long sequence. I'll tell you this though, editing notes is like 500 times easier than what I'm seeing here. Just watching you edit those notes almost made me jump out the window. Could have done it in like 2 seconds on MPC.
@@DDS825 thanks man, I’m also having trouble with the loops, it’s not recording the full loops and also it’s recording when I just simply load the loop? And also I was working on a dope project and added some effects and it just erased it completely before my eyes
Maybe I am not “old school” enough or I don’t travel enough but I’m failing to see the hype of these standalone units. I mean... I didn’t buy a $4,000 dollar PC for nothing right haha
I think people think to much about drawbacks instead of focusing on enjoying music making and creativity. People just enjoy the process.
I agree 100%
As advertised - its all just right there in the instrument. having same fun making house, and synthwave groove now.
Fluent with the instrument bro! smooth beat!
Appreciate it 🙌🏽
How's it do with synthwavey stuff? That would be my primary use for it!
btw, you can use the big encoder to skim through events. much faster than using the arrow buttons. you can also use the small encoders to select the patterns in ideas view. again - much faster than selecting patterns using the pattern selector.
Appreciate that information. I forgot about that since I was used to using the computer screen. 😂 I’m going to try using it for selecting patterns.
Let’s go I just got some of the native instrument plugins like massive and absynth and more. I just need to update native instruments.
Absynth used to be one of my favorites.

Tight bro. Look like you feel right at home on the standalone lol
Thank you! Yea it's second nature.
Thank you 🙏
Thank you for watching!

Thank you! I haven’t used an Mac before so I’d be biased. But I love my Maschine.

Yea that’s the headache for me. Lol if I didn’t have to backspace everything, I’d be good.
ya da beat hard
Appreciate it man!
Dope. Thank you for your videos awesome stay safe
Thank you for watching! You too!
hard 🔥
Thank you!
do you still use your mk3? I just got rid of my machine studio for the plus. Do I need to have that mk3 so I can run plus in controller mode.
FIRE DDS FIRE
Enjoyed the video and the audio is great.
Thanks a lot man! I’m trying a different set up with the audio.
DDS question do you think they will have more updates on the Maschine + as for instruments in the near future?
Yes I do.
Any vids on exporting stems to Abelton or Daw from machine+?
Great video, Thanks for sharing. That was one cool beat!
Great tutorial, but it was a little hard to keep up with on the first go. You move fast on that joint, I'm sure it's just muscle memory at this point.
Sorry about that, yes it is all muscle memory.
How long does the battery last hooked up to the plus
Haven’t fully tested it but based off of its performance so far. I’d say 6-8 hours
@@DDS825 Ha! Soooo more than the Akai internal battery 🙃
Nice vid. It seems like if they make 20 new Machines, you’ll get them all.
😂 maybe.
I would like to join the online courses if possible but for some reason I ve been blocked on the site could you please help me to sort it out?
You’re blocked on teachable?
Nice work!
Thank you!

Yes it does that automatically when recording.
Awesome beat and workflow!
Thank you!
Agreed
Am i wrong or is there no master level, where you can check how loud your master output is..?
When you’re on you master channel a small meter is next to the cpu usage. It’s all white but you can see how loud it is.
@@DDS825 thanks!
Is that the full komplete instruments in this vid
No it’s not. It’s Massive, and monark
@@DDS825 thank you
Hey how many audio tracks can we load up? And what is the lenght for each? Lets say I want to record my external synths or vocals onto several tracks!? Cheers
I’m not 100% sure but NI did a faq video on their channel and I believe they answered it.

I prefer to have it to where all I need to do is mix. I used to do some drops in Logic but now with clips, I do it all in Maschine.
@@DDS825 That's wassup
You in Atl?
what if i want to use half of what i recorded? how do i shorten my loop?
Hold the pattern button and shorten the pattern length.
Man I have mk3 already but really want to have maschine plus on my lap making beats outside !
I haven’t done that in a while 🤔
question how much memory does the maschine + hold just try to
Understand if there is any latency and will it hold all of my Komplete Ultimate 12 files
Some of Komplete isn’t compatible with the Maschine + there are select Instruments that works with it.
@@DDS825 I appreciate your feedback.
Trying to learn how to combine scenes together to make a song
GTA mission type beat!
This thing needs so many more tutorials
On what topic?

There is a faster way to navigate the notes to edit. I just forgot because I’m used to editing notes on the computer. Lol
How do you lock note repeat???
When you press note repeat, you'll see note repeat on the top left corner of the left screen. Click the button above it to pin it.

That’s a big ass brick for portability!!!
It’s fine to me.
It’s just about the size of my hand. Lol it’s just a little bit bigger than my portable phone charger.

Lol I get that 100%. But It's nice to get away and work for awhile in my opinion.
U slept on them drums kid!! Lol
Brother u need to slow down so I can learn ur moving too fast
👍🏾😎🎼🎼
🙌🏽
Just posted a deal on that SSD it’s a flash sale y’all better hurry up while it’s $55
Missed it but it’s all good. Thanks for sharing!
U should have ran the cpu up just to see
Maybe I’ll do it in one of my next videos
Nah
