I enjoyed the video but did miss the fun of picking more books out of the jar to decide. I think it’s a great idea to add the new books to the jar as you acquire them. Can’t wait for the next read it or not!

So glad you lived The Frozen River! I also have a TBR jar. All books go in the jar. When I acquire new books, I create slips for those books and add them to the jar. I would become confused with two jars as to which books are in which jar, when do 'new acquisitions' become 'old acquisitions and put into the larger jar...to much to manage for me. Hope you figure out what works for you!😊

The Frozen River was one of my favorite reads this year. I just loved the way the author portrayed Martha Ballard's character as a very strong woman.
Yes! And to read the author’s note at the end and see how closely the author stuck to her real life. Super great story!
I'm really enjoying these read it or not blogs. I've added several books that I've ended up enjoying to my TBR because of them. I've read the Frozen River due to a previous video where you mentioned it and I loved it. It was exactly my type of book. One of the other books I read because you had it in an earlier read it or not challenge was The Home for Unwanted Girls, which I also really enjoyed.

I'm stunned that you found those HP books on FB marketplace! Amazing! As for your jar...hmmm...I think I'd keep what you have with 2 separate ones and pick out of the newer acquisition jar once a quarter or something, maybe in a month like this where you were able to do both. I'm sure it's hard to know exactly how your new job will impact what you want/need to read so it seems wise to keep your current status quo until you get a feel for it. I've recently thought that I need to challenge myself some month to read all of the books I acquired the previous month-I'm always so excited for the new things but they sometimes get buried by the backlist.

Just started a new book it book 9 in the series killer’s town by Lee falk I just started yesterday All ready on chapter 9 it’s a reprint of one of novel featuring his character from the comics the phantom .

Ok, I don't comment on your videos but I have to with this one. I really appreciated Frozen River. You complimented her writing. Did you forget the love story between the midwife and her husband? Did you not just love that portion? What about the job of a midwife in that time period? All that character went through was amazing. Sorry Bekah, to be fair you are trying to read a very complicated story with young children jumping in the swimming pool and making over your bedroom so I can appreciate your opinion. Just wanted to jump in to share my thoughts.
Yep! I totally noticed all of those things. To be fair… I read about 250 pages all in one day and didn’t update in between, so I definitely missed out on mentioning those things. I read a really great book amidst living my life, so I don’t see how that’s an issue!
