I understand that we haven't enjoyed this season so far but I think we should be showing more support and love for Grant here instead of just spewing hate. I'm glad to see that he really enjoyed his time in the show and still has excitement for whats to come this season with some of the characters, doesn't mean he thinks everything has been a masterpiece recently but it shows that he still cares a lot about his show and the cast which is awesome to see

We can't change nothing and nothing will change because there is no more seasons . So me personally I'll enjoy the last couple episodes for what they're and just be grateful that unlike the other Arrowverse shows this will end on it's own terms and that's it

He’s definitely getting his family back and becoming the original timeline flash just with everything that he’s achieved in the timeline up until that timeline shift I think the things that where always meant to be in the original time line will end up coming back because if we’re being honest we’ve been in thanes revjerse flashpoint since season 1 because Barry just went along with life and now it is what we know it as today but since he’s becoming the original timeline flash the reverse flashes plan wouldn’t even exist anymore and Caitlin would end up back as well frost too

Eric Wallace really did bring a new layer and dimension of storytelling when he came on this show. However, each season he did managed to get worse with slight glimmers of intrigue. At the end of the day, as bad as some of the seasons before him had gotten, there was always a standard baseline of what the show was which he slowly abandoned and managed to reshape into something that ultimately caused detriment to the show!
Despite all of the criticisms about this last season of the show. It sounds like this is a season where they’ve really saved the best for last. Grant just gave a sneak peek as to what they are doing the last few episodes after episode 8 and it sounds like things will go out with a bang wrapped in a bow. If’s he’s talking about getting some closure on things that happened in season 1, and everything coming full circle, then these last couple of episodes are going to be both very emotional and nostalgic. They always say “Sometimes, You don’t know what you had until it’s gone”. Despite what some people think about this season, overall this show will certainly be missed. Best wishes to Grant, Candice and the cast on all of their future endeavors. Thank you to the writers, production crew and all of the other people that worked so hard over 9 seasons to bring this character to life.

It wouldn't work continuity-wise because the lightning bolt is tied to the particle accelerator explosion, and it's the Speed Force that chose Barry. Before Reverse-Flash changed the timeline, it happened in 2020, and afterwards was moved up to 2013 (still the case post-Crisis). I could see Eric Wallace still doing it, but it will open up a *lot* of plot holes.

I can say with confidence that it's some of the absolute worst content they've put out in a long time. Not any of the actors fault really, although there was a bit of bad acting from some characters......cough cough red death. Eric Wallace is the biggest problem with how the show has been going for the last few seasons, he really doesn't understand quality storytelling or good character development. I honestly hope that once the flash is over that he stays as far away from television and film production as possible.

Episode 9 is going to be the big final crossover episode for the Flash which is tonight. This will be the end of the Arrowverse as the crossovers left after this big episode won't be as large in scope.
