- We've lived here for exactly 4 months and NYC just started Phase 2 of reopening so I decided to share a week in our life vlog! Follow along on @prettyinthepines on IG.

I really like the vibe of your channel (& your style - home, clothes). Your personalities that come across are very pleasant to watch as well. I see this channel is pretty recent with uploads here & there. I don't know what your lifestyle & goals look like, but if you were to upload more regular videos & eventually get to a consistent weekly schedule - I could see this channel really taking off. Loved this it’s been so long! What an amazing city
I've been there three times as a young person and I will never ever forget the excitement of driving and catching our first glimpse of the empire state building. When I was little my Dad had one of those really old (and huge) shortwave radios and I remember listening to late night radio stations from NYC in my bedroom as a teen with my ear pressed to the speaker. It was oddly mesmorizing to me. Growing up in small town Canada NYC always fascinated me and still does. I really enjoyed this video. Thanks for sharing!!!

OMG, Covid times in NYC...no people on the street! It is so busy again...hated Covid, but had some nice times in the city, without all the tourists.

We loved our time in NYC and would never change it for anything! I do think moving was the right decision but not for the reasons a lot of people think. We always felt safe while there. ❤️

Yes! That couch is from Interior Define. It took a LONG time for it to finally come but I do love it. Although, I do have lots of little feathers coming out of it sooo it's not perfect. Couches are so tricky.

I've only been to NYC twice in my life and I have never felt more at home. Too bad I'm stuck on the other side of the state and I'm too broke to even think of moving there. 🥺
That is exactly how I feel about it. and there is nothing that makes me feel more empowered than walking around the streets alone. It has this WEIRD way of feeling comforting. Hope you get to visit again sometime in the future! You never know what could happen. I certainly didn't think that I'd ever live here.

I'm guessing you don't live in NYC... literally 80% of the people here did that over the summer. It's highly populated and it was respectful to the elderly on the streets.
