2023 Season - E03 (redux) - Douglas Fir Natural Area - David Thompson Hwy

I noticed a few issues with the first version of this video posted, I've fixed them and reposted:
Continuing along the David Thompson Highway in Alberta we come across the Douglas Fir Natural Area. Come along as we leave the Rockies and set out onto the foothills.

Very scenic drive and nice work on the video. This is a road I've always wanted to drive.

it took me a long time to get to it too. Probably because it's not really on the way to or from either Calgary or Edmonton or even coming back from Vancouver or the BC interior. You need to specifically plan a trip to someplace like either Rocky Mountain House or Red Deer for it to make sense.

Fantastic drive through that area of the mountains. A couple of years ago we camped at Siffleur Falls, and had a great experience there.

Amazing video as always Phil. Loved the scenery especially at 9:30 with the lake to your left! Reminds me of the Snowy Mountains Hwy here in Australia but I gotta say Canada does it better 😁
