Labs, especially golden retrievers, were literally bred to be water dogs to help fishermen bring in their nets. I'm so glad he's grown and healthy! My family friend got a black poodle that developed a liver problem after about a year and had to be put down. It was very sad for their family, but I'm so happy that your beautiful dog is alive and well! I'm currently on my 2nd pair of golden retrievers and they are about 4 1/2 and 6 so they still have some great years left on them. Goldens are the best fucking dogs in the world
