I will be taking a day trip to Pune on the 07:00 Vista Dome train leaving Mumbai and will depart Pune at 15:15 which gives me a little over 4 hours in Pune. Can you suggest something to do while I am in Pune and can you recommend an American-friendly restaurant with good Indian food? I have been warned not to eat street food and only drink sealed bottle water. I also plan day trips to Nashik/Nasik Road(Vande Bharat) and Matheran (Toy Train). I hope all 3 train trips will give me a great view of the breathtaking Western Ghats. If you are in the area I would love to meet you and your friends for lunch or dinner in Mumbai or Pune.
