- I'm back on the creek, searching for hidden treasures with my metal detector. In the second half of the video, I identify the various finds.
As always this is a how to metal detecting outdoor adventure vlog that is family friendly and hopefully a fun video.
About Aquachigger:
I like to make videos that promote my lifestyle of outdoor adventure, metal detecting, yapping, searching for river treasure, SCUBA diving, exploring abandoned places, hiking, caving, caring for animals and pets, and observing the things outdoors that often go unnoticed. I keep my RUclips "Aquachigger" channel family-friendly and hope you subscribe if you like my style.
I hope to see you guys out there!

I hope you enjoy this little metal-detecting adventure!
Here is an Amazon affiliate link to the cut-proof gloves I am using in the video, and I recommend them. amzn.to/3Kdw1kB

Oh and number 3 lol
Hey Beau, I think the 1st two holes in the bank might have been Muskrats?
Chigg where did you get the black thing on the end of your pin pointer I want one.
10 pairs of cut proof gloves for a little over 20 bucks, now that's a good deal!
That clear glass Coke may have been from the early forties. Not sure of the value.
When you spotted the Minie Ball on the river bank, it reminded me that I believe you have the eyesight of an eagle! There is a natural flow to your videos that allows me to relax and enjoy being along for the adventure. I would rather spend my entertainment dollars watching MOAR Aquachigger Adventures. Thanks for all your hard work, Beau.
Beau's such a good, decent man - I even named one of my Tabby brothers after him!
@@davestelling I couldn't agree more. I've never met him, but I've watched hundreds of his videos. There are over 1800 in his playlist and always something for me to enjoy and learn.
Here in Germany every citizen has to pay a compulsory fee every three months for watching Tv or listening to the radio regardless of whether you consume these types of media or not.I would rather prefer giving these 60USD to Aquachigg every 3 months for the great content i consumed over the last (almost)2 decades instead of being forced to fund government media. So Thank you as well from my side for your content!
@JustAnotherTP Wow! That is very generous of you in both the praise and donation. Thanks again for being such a spectacular supporter!
@@aquachigger You make it easy, Beau. I should have said you're close to 1900 videos!
Danger high voltage sign. Probably.
My wife and I can't watch enough of your videos. Been binging for months. Excellent entertainment for treasure hunters that can't get out to do it much. Thank you sir!
I like hearing the birds chirping in the background as you show us your treasures. It is very relaxing.
Love your content and way of life. Your an inspiration to the youth of today
Happy to hear that.
Thanks Chigg 🤘😎 Even if you don’t think there was spectacular finds, we like the videos for your character and the amount of knowledge you provide us.
I appreciate that and thanks so much for the donation!
When the Red Velvet is on the table, I'm certain we all lean in! Thanks for sharing a worthwhile time!
A minie ball = a successful day!
Always enjoy tagging along. Thank you Chigg!
BTW We like seeing the relics at the end. Please keep doing this if you have the time.
Like the wrap up,later with the relics & junk. Always a good time with you, Chigg❣️🇨🇦
Any day above ground is a good day, any day doing something fun and relaxing is a great one.
My best find on a beaver dam was a hand carved duck decoy. Beaver cut a tree, dragged a branch thru the old man's decoy spread. Decoy is on my shelf!
🦆
Hi, as I'm relatively new to your RUclips videos, I think showing at home with explaining what you found is great, have gone back two and three years, it nice to see the enthusiasm for exploring, thank you so much for the enjoyment of watching. ❤😂
Chig, I appreciate the extra time at the end to break down your finds and thoughts. When feasible of course. Holding my breath!
Number 2. Hmm. Perfect timing to watch another Aquachigger Adventure! See you on the other side, Beau!
The more knowledge you can share with me, the better
Thank you, chigg
Chiggs any day watching your adventures is a great day. 👍👏😀
Chig has no fear. Showing us guys the beaver lodge despite your history with rabid beavers. You the best sir
Chigg it's the outing that we enjoy! We've watched your videos for years and it's the fun of the hunt and your good attitude that keeps us watching.. I know just like tool hunting you are not always gonna have a mega find every time. But it doesn't mean that it's not fun. Yes please do the round up at the end. ps my wife said she misses the way you used to sign off like 1000 times in your videos...
I absolutely 100% enjoy the ending talk time and preview please do more!!
3rd like, good evening, chigg, i love watching all of your metal detecting videos, huge fan of all your videos.
I love the personal relic round up at the end!
Yes best part showing your finds and describing them. Thank you ❤️
Nice work supporting glove safety!
Mystery item at 17:10 is a, broken tooth of a backhoe or loader looks to be! Thanks for sharing, you are an inspiration to us all. God Bless you! (Glen). WV.
Good video and thank you much.
Thank you gif the Video Sir..
Thanks Chigg , good little video I always enjoy them.
I have watched you for years , you introduced me to metal detecting ! Always a joy to see you
That was a fun video. I really enjoy the wrap up showing the finds up close and learning more about them.
Thank you for a good video. Very interesting and fun. Do you find more Union or Confederate rounds? Also, have you ever found any meteorites? Antarctica may be an interesting metal detector video. God bless you and your family. Have a great week.
Love watching your videos. Just getting into detecting a bit late in life. Amazed at the great things you find!! Would be so fun to go exploring with you.
Love your river hunts. So interesting.
I think that red & white sign you found was a Danger High Voltage one. Cool video, thanks for taking us along. 👍
YES! Go into the details. Another great video.
Yes, please do more of the wrap ups at the end. You do good work with your content.
I enjoy All of your Adventure's!!! Thank you for sharing it with us!!! God Bless Us All!!!!
Hey, chigg, a piece of muluminium. Love it
Nice finds. That faucet made me think of those older sinks that would have separate faucets for cold and hot water.
Great video Chigg, I enjoyed watching it and love to hear you talk about the things you find. Once in a while I’ll see something that you dig up and think, I’ve seen that before!
Treasure time!! Thanks Chigg!🥂👍😊
I like the time on the porch going through the relics with the chig
Always enjoy your adventures 👍😁
You never disappoint 😉
Enjoy the wrap up Chig! The fact that you show everything of interest good or bad is very enlightening! I have buckets full of bad to probably bad. Never know what i might see different on a different day. Found my first and only cowtrop in a bad bucket. Thought it was a large rusty nut and bolt and used it to test out a new electrolysis set up. Turned out beautiful! Keep it up!
I'm certain someone else has already said it, but at 15:45 mark that's a fuel shut-off for a gas engine. The multiple threaded areas are for in-out fuel lines and a filter/sediment bowl. LOVE your vids!
Thanks ! I enjoyed watching.
Super Cool Adventure always worth a video of Moreeeeeeee
I enjoyed it even though you said it wasn’t “great” and wouldn’t have been a video back in the day. Regardless you always make it interesting and that’s what counts so thanks for sharing see you on the next one👍🏼👊🏼
Suzanne: Great video as usual. I’ve learned so much from you. Do you read a lot about the history? Is that how you find these great places?
Man, I remember when we were little and my mom used to give us Baby Tyme screwdrivers! 😆
Enjoyed the tabletop close with the finds, but find it unsettling that you were out of uniform, no chigg hat !
Love your videos and really needed the distraction.
The spoon pattern looks like 'Jesmond', it is a simplified King's Pattern, I had it in my restaurant.. Classic old pattern. I have those hooks with weights, they are for jigging with plastic baits, like worms.15:28, is a pipe and tap to a gas lamp. 22:36 looks like a rotary switch cover, utilitarian that you use in a barn. Nice finds I like that bit at the end.
"Any Day Out on The River is a Good Day", Isn't that the Truth!
Threaded piece might have been a fuel line? Fun hunt. Thanks for sharing!!!
💥💥💥💥Chigg, as an experienced detectorist, I can say that was a good day. For those who are new to metal detecting, that was a fantastic day.
That spike is pretty awesome. Some good finds Chigg. That one little piece of curved pipe is a small spigot. The handle and seat are missing. The mystery piece looks like a barn door track wheel.
never apologies, these vids are great. top man.
I used to get pretty lucky around beaver holes.
The flat washer thing looks a bit like a bell from an old phone, fire alarm or timer. The hook with the weight is for bass fishing with plastic crawfish baits with a modified texas rig, or atleast that's what I use them for! The weight on the hook keeps the crawfish lure upright on the bottom for a natural presentation. Thanks for sharing! looked like a good time.
Awesome video and adventure!
Yes to the wrapups
4:09 "Baby Time" alcoholic drink...that actually would be a fitting name given that a lot of babies tend to come about from overly drunk people getting busy. lol
I hear your house wren in the background. Sounds pretty!
Keep doing the relic round-ups at the end of the videos once everything is cleaned up, sometimes it helps to identify unknown objects with a second look under different lighting conditions, dry instead of wet etc.
Hi Chigg ! 🥰
Hi
Love your stuff, mate. Some more in-depth discussion on your collections would be good. Indoors, outdoors, on the water or underwater, it's all good..
Good evening from Southeast South Dakota
The little brass dodad you found was a cask tap sometimes found on small whiskey casks .
Awesome opossum
Thanks.
Great episode chig!
Anyday Chigg post a video for us who can’t get out to the river is a good day. 👍
DANGER my friend !!!
Bullet was smaller than rifle bore. Tumbled in flight. Wife and I shoot in the N-SSA. I have seen a thousand of an inch too small cause keyholes in cardboard target. Keyhole is when the Minnie ball hits the target sideways.😮
Thanks for the info
Or possibly even loaded backwards.
Hey Beau I sent you a tweet the other day with some photos of a possible spearhead, not too many people I can think of to help me out. Thanks for the great video as always. Sure wish we had the amount of waterways you have to explore.
Aquachigger: “I think I see a civil-war bullet” Me: “Where?” All I see is water and rock.
Nice spoon
Aloha Chigg, 15:39 is that some kind of gas jet with a shut off/on? Bullets tumble when fired, especially from smooth bores. That tube looks like a part from a gas lamp, or gas burner or something. The winged turn handle is missing. Mahalo Chigg, made my day friend!
Always a pleasure to watch you Chigg. Nice little adventure. Are you planning on going mudlarking sometime in the future?Take care n God Bless.❤
I know one place I would go to at least 1 time a year and probably more, the place where you found 150 siver half dollars in a ford. I have a feeling there might be more on the path leading into and out of there also, as well asall across the river.
That was an incredible episode, gotta even go and watch it again!
Thumbs up gor effort!
Nice
13:02 that my friend is what’s left of a bass lure it would have had a multicolored skirt of rubber or plastic strings covering the weight and barb of the hook. Definitely older maybe 80’s it’s pretty rusted. Back to the vid….
Would really love to see more of your collection love civil war artifact the most but don't find any of that much and live in Virginia go figure I guess I'm not much of a detectorist but I enjoy it anyway
Based on the "Shield" that is inlaid on the grip panel of the pocket knife I believe it is an old Imperial brand knife. I think the sign you found likely said "DANGER HIGH VOLTAGE".
The rusted large offset hook with the molded on weight is 100% a hook designed for soft plastic swimbaits usually used for bass fishing.
The sign read Danger :)
Will Robinson?
@@aquachigger That would have been even Moar interesting 😂
@@aquachigger 🤖
@@aquachigger Hilarious🤣
I think that sign read DANGER HIGH VOLTAGE. just a guess tho.
The wheel rim looks like It’s from a large wooden barrel. The wagon wheels I have, the metal is much thicker than what I see there.
Agreed, but more likely a large wash tub
Hiya Chigg!
Man I love it when there nothing than bam the metal detector rings
Take a Gardner bullet saw or use a tile saw and cut it longways and polish it on a whetstone to see the construction.
At 22:20 maybe an old gas valve of some sort ?
Hey Chigg
Hey thanks for gettin' us out! That hook with the lead on it is a rubber worm rig for bass and such.
The knife is a fishing knife it has a little fish symbol on it, probably from the 40s or 50s!
I tried holding my breath, when I came to, your video was over.
😎👍✌
