- 1.0 Overexplained guide for Songs of Conquest as it releases on May 20th.
In this series my goal will be to teach you all the different mechanics in the game together with a general strategy. I will be playing through a regular 2 player map and explain every concept I encounter as I go. You're not going to get a step by step guide to play a certain strategy but instead a general overview and a deeper understanding on what goes into winning strategies.
After watching through this series you should have enough knowledge about the game to create your own strategies and to win against the AI on higher difficulties.

the 1vs1 scene is not what expected - i only found 1 tournament and it took like 6 months to do it ):
hope we get more 1vsv1 balance changes but the random maps are key
That's a shame. It would be nice if there was a big enough community for that. Hope things get better now that it has fully released.
Nice idea, but a bit rambly and full of double-takes, could really benefit from editing down. Not usually a problem for letsplays, but noticeable for an informational video.
Good point. I'll keep that in mind for next time.
@@Parrexion I just want to say, I really enjoyed the video and I think that the moments of rambling are still informative and can offer insight as to what you are considering when making decisions (as a more experienced player).

Earlier the video was titled "Strategy Guide" and I have to agree that this video is not edited enough to be called that. "Overexplained" seems to fit it much better.

I did play HoMM a lot and this game is basically that, but with much saner balance.
