This is my all time favourite car alongside the p1 and i can see why people hate the single clutch and i can also see why people love it, although terrible for daily driving, it is a Lamborghini that is meant to be the most brutal and outrageous car on the road, you should check out the murcielago sv, an agressive lambo like the aventador but also drives smoother.
The merci sv also sounds better

‘brutal’ isn’t the right word. if you’ve driven one you’d know, the clutch is honestly clunky if anything. i honestly don’t think calling the aventador’s shit clutch brutal or immersive is a valid excuse anymore especially for the money they cost
@@NoName-oq8qu i know how bad they are but when just flooring it, it does add to the experience which makes the car brutal and raw but when casual driving its not good, i am not saying that the car is better without a dual clutch transmission, i think it would be better with it
The single clutch just add a whole new character to the car , I don't think the Aventador would be the same with a dct

Love the videos! I am a police officer in a very small town in central indiana. We are having a car show to raise money for the department on may 30th, 2022. The money would go towards better equipment for our officers. Would be awesome if you guys could bring a couple cars down to help promote it!!
I think it's time to do a collab with DDE and go for a cruise in his SVJ with gintani exhaust before he twin turbos it and after.
1. The car sounds different because of timing and other things
2. Keep your foot on the brake and it wont go into neutral
3. Yeah the SVJ is the worst
4. Sport is the best driving mode

I second that! I drove one on the autobahn about 4 years ago and it was so sick. The $700k price tag is just so crazy though, which is probably why no one on RUclips has one.

Agreed. One of the bestbsounding V10 on the market. The car goes to neutral by default to save the single clutch. When you drive manual they recommend from factory that when at a red light, on a hill or stopped for a period of time to put in neutral. This is recommended for any single clutch vehicles

does it not shift way faster in corsa mode no? the shifting is slugish and extra rough in cimfort and sport mode but in corsa it is better?

It's going to be interesting to see how the "rawness" of Lamborghini vs. the "refinement" of Ferrari converges as supercars become more electrified...Will Lamborghini lose some of its "clunkiness" or will they try and engineer that experience into their future models, especially seeing that the single clutch sledgehammer has become a legendary Lambo trademark? Will Ferrari still maintain their "superior fluidity" (so to speak, by comparison according to some)?

That's disappointing, Ive always wanted a SVJ but ill just test drive it one day to see how bad it really is compared to other hyper cars.
It's not terrible. I'm just not a huge fan of Aventador's in general.

Svj is one of the best ever made. You can't blame this car for this single clutch transmissions. Some people like this and some people not, so this is not a fault of this car.

The whole advantage of it is that it is better on the track than the other aventadors and sometimes making a track car will result in removing many luxury features and replacing them with more track features.

You can't drive this car in automatic, ofc its the worst.. This car has such a magic soul which has to be driven with feelings of the gear changes in a manual mode and in a combination of throttle on/off. It'll be a KICK in your ass with Pops and Bangs and so much more fun to drive than a dual clutch normal car. Learn how to drive it before you rate it bro..
If you complain about the gearbox you’re not a true driver because you have to shift perfect to get it as smooth

I’m here for ALL of the aventador hate. I have been a long time hater. I’m not a Lamborghini guy period. It is a “look at me” car above all else, which is why you see 99% of owners revving the guts out of them at every stop... ya know... because look at me look at me!!!
