They actually fire a single photon torpedo at the Decepticons in the first issue of the Transformers/Star Trek comic. Clear skies though, the Enterprise can clearly lock onto what it's aiming at, and one torpedo injures Soundwave and causes the Decepticons to scatter. THREE TORPEDOES for a few Gorn seems pretty insane, especially if you assume Kelvin ships are by default armed better than ToS ships.
I think we can call this overlay since when aiming you character is always above this usually prevent camera clipping... but make silly things like this

So I noticed that at 22:53 if you watch the Gorn closely it seems like the model stays in place while the ship moves which makes the enemy model slip around and then suddenly it just disappears into thin air. Very surprised Matt didn’t laugh at that.
Pre-video prediction: these two chuckle-heads will spend about five minutes of this video giggling while playing with stupid glitches instead of playing the actual game, and I will be grateful for it.

I'm just like "look Pat; they clearly wanted them to work more like star wars torpedoes" because again it would cooler to have more "battle scenes" than just more "should we use the nukes or not?" scenes. That being said I do forget if they were treated like nukes in the new movies. I also forget if they were even used in the new movies.
I just watched Star Trek Beyond in preparation for this lets play since Pat mentioned on the podcast that he would talk about it. HOLY SHIT gravity makes no sense in that movie. Whenever the enterprise is in a space battle and they're trying to maneuver and they're banking everyone on the ship is just rolling around on the ground and falling all over themselves and it makes no goddamn sense. A ship with artificial gravity banking IN SPACE wouldn't affect anyone inside the ship. The artificial gravity that isn't relative to anything except the inside of the ship, there's no "up" or "down" in space.

Nearly every modern iteration of Gorn disappoints me. The best Gorn are the ones in the Star Fleet Universe where they become allies with the Federation and fire plasma torpedoes from ships with dinosaur names.
