Was a good interview a tad short. Would have liked to hear more. Gary Oldman is a very likeable fella. For me Leon (the Monologue) phenomenal. Thank you. Loving Slow Horses great writing and performances.
I know i already said it but this was a fantastic interview Shane! Gary is so down to earth and what a privilege to have been able to interview him. 😄 Also loved my little cameo in the background photo of you with Mick at that wonderful event last year 😄
What a great comment to read. Thank you. I can't lie, I was very nervous and Gary immediately put me a ease. He is a professional and a very nice chap.
My local library doesn't even carry these books. I didn't even know the show was based on actual Books! So thanks very much for giving me some literature to check out. Cheers, jack
Ha! I bought Spook Street from a charity shop just 'cos the title appealed to me. Didn't know it was part of a series or anything. Then tried to reserve Slow Horses from the library, couldn't understand why there was a waiting list for it. a long one. I know now it's due to this most excellent TV series.
I read Deighton years ago and would love to find the Game,Set ,Match and Hook,Line,Sinker sets again at my public library in digital form. But alas no such luck - except for Ipcress File.
Great interview and a big scalp to interview for a surprisingly low amount of subscribers. Have a like and subscribe buddy, good luck with the channel 😁
LOVE Slow Horses. Addicted. I would be interested in the books; has anyone read them? - are they the same as the TV series in terms of characters and plot, or is there a fair degree of deviation? I
Yes there great. Only saw clips of the show. Two different art forms I don't expect the screen adaptation to mimic the written work. But it appears the screen version is great also. Gary O. Is of course great.

This is great! I want more of this!!!

This is great, Shane! Thanks!
Nice work Shane! Those pesky dogs!!
I mean if it was Emma Flyte, I would not have complained ;-)
Short but sweet!
Great stuff. You two chatted like you were old mates.

Great job, Shane! Short interviews are very difficult but you nailed it with the first question.
Very interesting, Would have loved the interview to go on longer
me too, we were just getting started but I am very grateful for the opportunity given to us by the producers of Slow Horses.

Gary is king 👑
I went from the streaming series to the library & Mick Herron's dialogue in the books is brilliant! READ them!
Bloody great actor, Churchill was fantastic
They gave you 5 minutes and you got a lot out of it. Great job. Oldman seems like a great guy.
Looks like Jackson Lamb is the new Bernard Sampson (Game Set and Match) - I can't see the entire series but eventually it will show up somewhere!

Nice one Shane
Bloody hell that ended quick.. I was all settled in for hrs of chit chat .. hahahaha
Hi ,I just got the email! You got Gary 😎😎😎
That Gary doesn’t have an Oscar is a travesty. The bloke doesn’t act, he simply becomes the character.
He did for The Darkest Hour in 2018
very interesting!
Great interview and a big scalp to interview for a surprisingly low amount of subscribers. Have a like and subscribe buddy, good luck with the channel 😁
Thank you! Our RUclips Channel is new, but our podcast has been around since 2017, featured on the BBC etc. Cheers
EVERYONNNNNE!!!

Great interview. And you know that whole make up and hours had to be refrence to his time as Dracula.
Hmm. I was thinking more Mason Verger in ‘Hannibal’, when his make-up took over 5 hours everyday, and he’s not even in the film that much! 😜
Plus Playing Winston Churchill
And Churchill
Game Set and Match is on You Tube for free!
Lamb and River carry the show. Other characters are boring
Why was the conversation so brief? It ended abruptly.
They only gave podcasters 4 minutes each. Crazy really but what can you do? ‘The Dogs’ were screaming at me to wrap it up.
