Enjoyed the episode. Keep up the good work Solon.
I appreciate it Jerry!
As always Salon ,nicely put together show.
The Buick looks to be a he'll of a deal.
I'll always have feed back on '69/'70 Mustangs. I parted out 50 years ago.
Thank you for your time JPK
Thanks John! I appreciate you being a viewer!
You are right, the Mustang is my favorite. Thanks Solon!
Mustang is cool!
Hi Solon. I'm liking the 54 chevy tonight. We have the same birth year. If not such a fan of the 40's coupes, this would be what I would have.
Great pick Dave!
My favorite is the 64 corvair. In the early 60s, my bro in law had a 2 door 50 Cadillac...Hot rodded.
I get that was nice Steve!
I am checking on the Mustang... Thanks for sharing.
Let me know if you get it Dennis!
The Buick Electra is our favourite, hello Solon have a great day.😊
Thanks! The same to both of you!
Cool rides. My pick is the ‘54 Chevy.
Good pick Don!
Our family had a 56 6-cylinder Chevy that originally belonged to the US Forest Service with a thick respray in a darker, shinier green vs the original ranger green. That straight six was very strong and could get you up to 80 without any complaints from under the hood.
❤ur content ...missed your last live episode but I'll catch number 4..
Thanks Richard hopefully will be out on Thursday!
I just saw a Chevy 1996 impala ss listed for 10,000. Nothing wrong with it. Clean title too. That’s a good car for a daily driver in my opinion.
Those 96 impalas are sweet, for sure! A friend of mine drove one, and it was nice!
Is she a classic yet,,or will be in 2026 ?
10 beautiful Mustang.
Good pick!
Favorite is the Studebaker convertible. Mustang is the best deal. Buick Electra, Corvair, Dart convertible, all look good, too. Very little "original" on the '55 Ford, including the motor, trans, seats... I'd go about 400 miles drive from my home in NC, but also places near family members in Illinois, Tennessee, New Jersey. If a really interesting car is near a decent airport, I might travel far to see it, but only after a lot of correspondence over the phone to make sure it is worth my while.
Great insight and a great comment Luis!
I liked the 62 custom New Yorker, and the 64 Electra 225. They looked like they would be the most trouble free cars in this group.
I agree with that!
My absolute favorite was #1 Buick and #10 mustang ❤️, great vehicles at a awesome price, but I would rather have the Buick because I am older and easier to get in and out of 😊
I agree! My dad owned a 73 Buick and he loved driving because he could get in and out of it as well!
The Buick was my favorite and the Cadillac and 54 Chevy are a close second
Good picks as always Leo!
That AI T-Bird is cool
Would be nice if it was real!
Mustang was my favorite!
Good pick!
I liked the Fury the best
Good pick!
I like to fifty six ford. As far as how far I would drive, I'd go to far end of the next state to me all the way around, whether it be, you know, east-west North or South. And thank you very much, so thank you very much Solon
Great Daniel on that 56 Ford! Thanks for being a viewer!
The mustang is the best deal out there. I'm really tempted.
T think so too! Thanks for viewing!
It's hard to choose any of the classics , So far i haven't seen my favorite car for sale . That is 1957 Chevy . But i love all the cars and trucks .
I will see if I can find you one in the next video or two!
Love your content look forward too your posts every week keep up the good work.
Thanks, Dennis. I appreciate that comment, brother!
The mustang is my fav.
Good pick as always Frank!
I have flown from LA to Miami to purchase a vehicle, and drove it home
WOW! That would have been a great road trip!
back in 1983. i went from pa. to az. for a 1967 gto.instead bought a 1965 malibu .had that car for 31 years.
I would take either the Buick, or the Cadillac, but I will crawl through broken glass while on fire the get the 71 Plymouth Fury. Currently in WI, used to live in Cali, I would travel however long it takes to get the right vehicle, they are that rare, and that special to me. I just need to win the lottery first, lol.
LOL! That is dedication on crawling through fire!
Solon I liked number one that Buick deuce and a quarter
Good pick Joseph!
@@AmericanrodshopI would fly in anywhere in the states if it’s what I wanted
I like all of them the 55 yellow& white ford was the best
How's it going solon I'm excited to roll with u once again
Thanks Joseph for tuning in!
2 favorites are the 1954 Chevy Belaire & the 1969 Mustang.
Both great picks
I would travel about 450 miles to buy one
I love it
Thanks Albert!
@@Americanrodshop you found what my mom had when she was only 16 years old a 1964 Dodge Dart Convertible
I'm always late, or in bed D'oh!
Favs:
No.1 that deuce and a quarter is really, really nice. And the OG condition is unbelievably good. That's a "never touch it other than a bath" car. Nail head to boot.
'64 Corvair is done rather nicely, not one I normally would go for but the execution is fun.
The mustang is a very good deal... even if those door panels and rockers are gone. My eye tells me they are gone.
Plus it's missing a pedal. With all that it's still a deal.
1259 miles, 3 years ago. For a salvaged 08 Bullitt.
Great comment as always Tully! I agree with those picks!
Nice selection tonight, Solon!
Thanks John! I appreciate you being a viewer!
250; fav car 64 Corvair
I liked that one as well!
The concept car reminds me of the Batmobil
I said the same thing in the live comments during the premier; it does look like the Batmobile! LOL!
That Mustang is a Great buy
Good pick!
The 55 Customline didn't come factory with the 302 🤣. It came with a 223 6 cylinder or a 272 Y-Block V8 . I would rather have the 302 . In my opinion it's a superior engine .
I like the 55, maybe more that the beutiful 56,,it has a mean street look..
Good insight Andrea!
Hey everybody! Welcome in here!
Good price for the stang
Yes it is!
Within the state of Calif.
I have never been to California, but I do want to visit there one day and checkout all those awesome cars!
Traveled 740 miles to purchase my 2007 Dodge Charger Super Bee.
Wow! That is a sweet car!
In 1955 you had a choice of a 272 or a 292 if you rubbed the head or the salesman, and a 2 speed auto or a 3 speed manual, 302 didn't show up till the late 60s
Great info and a great comment! I appreciate you being a viewer!
The distance I would travel is actually a little complicated. I’d say it’s a three way matrix of price, how badly I wanted that particular vehicle, and its road worthiness (will it make the trip or do I have to transport it).
Going to check out vintage autos are always a great road trip!
I’d drive that Electra!
It was nice Milt!
All good deals.
100 miles
Thanks ED!
Liked the 69 mustang. Big fan of the 302.
It is a sweet car!
My favorite car is the 64 Buick.
The 54 Chevy is NOT a Bel Air, it is a 150.
The Mustang is NOT a Grande, it is a base coupe.
Thanks Daniel! Good observation! I always appreciate my knowledgeable viewers, you guys are the best!
It makes me wonder if the sellers are really that ignorant, or are purposely misrepresenting thier offerings. @@Americanrodshop
Hard to beat a yellow Fairlane.
That is a nice one! That car sold during the live premiere! I knew it would not las long!
I really dig the Dart .
Good pick Andrea!
It would depend on the car but generally 500mi
That is about my range as well!
I like the yellow and white Ford and the Mustang. $18000 to 8500? Doesn’t make sense to me. What was that dealership thinking? Another great selection. I think for the perfect car/deal I would go as far as 500 miles. I would go that far only because I would be buying it for myself.
Yeah I have wondered about that myself for sure Charles!
I'm a big 55-56 ford man although my fav is the 57 ford. The 50 Caddy was pretty awesome as well as the 54 chevy. As far as traveling I really don't like to go more the a couple hours from the house just to look at something but some of the best deals on this channel are on the other side of the moon for me LOL. Thanks Solon, you're the best!
I appreciate it Walt! Thanks for being a longtime viewer!
The mustang
Nice pick!
Don't know how you do it but it's magic
LOL! I appreciate it, Jack!
1950 Cadillac Model 62 is my Winner of the day.
Tyler from Hoovie's Garage has a older retomoded 1949 Model 62.
Ice Pond smooth ride, and a real eye grabber.
Post War GM cars, were just incredible.
Yes they are benny!
That t bird concept car looks like it could take off in flight lol purty cool. That Buick Electra was my favorite.
It was awesome looking for sure!
Same on the Buick, I’m a sucker for those 60’s Buicks, especially coupe models. And being a desert car it should be free of rust,
I can't choose just one. I like the Cadillac but I like the other ones as well. As far as distance is concerned I live in Florida but I have children in California, Texas, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Alabama and Florida as well so I don't mind flying anywhere in the US to pick up a car. Great show as always thank you. But you sure make it difficult showing us all the cars for less than $10,000 . I'm giving myself 3 months making a list of the cars I really want and if one is available at that time I will buy it and go wherever it is. You really feed my passion so once again thank you.
I appreciate that kind comment, Chip! Let me know when you get one of those cars, and send some pics!
I would have to drive a thousand miles, because we're in Poland 😂😂😂
LOL!
‘62 Studebaker, ‘56 Ford, ‘64 Dart, favorites tonight. Great selection tonight, Solon. Keep missing the show, too much going on!
Thanks Joe!
The AI car is 60s not 50s in design.
Good observation there!
64 Buick is sharp
It was clean for sure!
200 miles is about my max for a daily driver.
Yeah, that is a pretty good assessment on mileage for me as well!
Really, the distance I’d drive to purchase a vehicle all depends on the vehicle and the price. I don’t think I would purchase a car from the mid west or northeast because those areas salt the roads during the winter and cars tend to rust out.
Good take on that salt wear!
10 miles
I'd drive 300 to buy a car. I drove 650 to buy my class B van back in 2003 and I still have it. I would ship it otherwise.
That is about the same for me!
Thats so crazy how a 2 door 54 Chevy just doesn't see the love its 55,56,57's siblings do. The poor ugly duckling...That one was a good buy for a two door at any rate.
The nicest 54 Chevy I ever saw in real life was a gasser when I was 14 years old! I still remember that car to this day!
For the right car ,up to 500 miles
That is about the same for me!
How do I find contact info on these cars
I just showcase the vehicle that are found in the video, so I do not have anything to do with the actual sale of any of these vehicles, but,,, you cs do this…
Go to the video that features the car you are interested in,then click on the video's title and the description will pop up, then click on the word "more" and when the description expands then scroll down to the car you are looking for - then click on the link underneath that car’s name and it will take you to the ad for that car, There you will find the info on it.
If the vehicle's ad does not pop up then that means that it probably has already sold.
Thx!
Someone buy me the Buick or the Mustang, and I'll take you out on a date!
Wow ! Heck of a deal 😃
How many miles would I travel to buy a car? Well that would depend on a lot of things like what kind of car is it. What condition is it in. How much are they asking for the car. Is it a clean title. I have drove 20 miles to buy a 1957 GMC short bed step side for all of 300 dollars daily driver at that. I drove 1 mile for a F250 High Boy 4x4 4 speed with granny low 1974 Daily driver and clean title. Just remember the more you have to travel you are taking the chance by the time you got there they might have already sold the car out from under you. Yes I have had that happen to me a few times. I would travel all over the Country if the price is right and the condition is great,
Great comment! I guess also the farther out you go, the longer it is to trailer it, that is something I do not enjoy doing! I had rather drive it home if safe enough to drive! Thanks !
@@Americanrodshop So true
I'd drive them all but the Corvair, never been a Corvair fan, idk why just don't care for them. as far as how far I would go to get a car back in I once I once flew from Nashville to Albuquerque when I was stationed at Fort Campbell to buy my Grandpa's 1980 F100 truck from my uncle when he was selling it after my grandpa passed away before they had the real estate and then drove it back, so.... 1200 miles ish?
That would have been a fun road trip driving something you love!
@@Americanrodshop Yeah it was, I flew out and had a 2 hour turn around before I started driving back. I stopped in Amarillo Texas for the night then drove the rest of 13 hours the next day, My Roommate was from Maine went with me and it was a fun trip, Fort Campbell was as far West as he had had ever been and he had never seen the Desert before and he paid his own way, he just wanted to go to see something new. plus it made it an easier drive because we switched driving everytime we stopped for gas or to eat. or we didn't drive more than 3 or 4 hours at a time.
if I had someplace to put it I'd be all over that Studebaker. I mean, its 6 hours away but still, what a cool looking car.
It was nice!
too bad the buick isn't a wildcat, mechanically the wildcat and electra were pretty much the same but the wildcat doesn't have that butt ugly box looking rear deck and quarters like the electra has, however with the monster torque of the 425 nailhead engine you could completely shread a new pair of tires in one burnout in either car. as far as which car from the video, although not my preferred year, the corvair is probably the only car out of this video i would even want to drive......
Great insight on that Buick, I did not even think of that comparison! The Corvairs is a good pick!
It looks more like a1963 T-Bird..
I can see that! Thanks Randall for being a viewer, my brother!
300
That is about the same as mine!
Electra 225
Nice pick!
Miserable gas mileage and hard to get parts for?
You could be spot on!
1956 ford
Good pick!
500 + -
You about in my range with that as well!
WHAT I WANT TO KNOW IS WHAT TIME DOES THE CAN CAN GIRLS COME ON HA HA / TO THE QUESTION OF HOW FAR WOULD I DRIVE TO BUY A CAR OR TRUCK I LIKE 150 MILES ONE WAY SO 300 ROUND TRIP / IF IT WAS A 4X4 TRUCK OR JEEP 4X4 THAT I LIKE TO BUY AND WANTED IT BAD I GET A TRANSPORT TRUCK FOR HIGHER AND PAY TO HAVE THEM PICK IT UP / THAT'S IF THE PRICE IS RIGHT / IT'S WORTH IT
PS# I AM ALWAYS WATCHING AND GIVING A THUMBS UP BUT DON'T SAY ANYTHING TO GIVE OTHER PEOPLE A CHANCE BECAUSE YOU ALWAYS GIVE A SHOUT BACK / LIKE YOU DON'T ALREADY HAVE A TON OF THINGS TO DO / KEEP THE FAITH, JESUS SAVES
I appreciate that insight and the kind comment! Thank you brother!
I would travel about 450 miles to buy one
That is about my range as well Joseph!
The '54 Chevy Belair coupe, and the '69 Mustang. It's very suspicious to me how a dealership would lower the price of the Mustang from $18k down to $8,500.
Yeah I thought about that as well - might be a scam!
I would travel about 450 miles to buy one
😢Yea,,that Mustang should be in the $20k,,also the 55&56 Fords should higher too. Alota things to consider with a daily driver,,like weather, gas mileage, and parking lot environment. The 54 Chevy would probably be a good one. The Buick and Plymouth are too big 😎 And for going to travel for an old car, take a freind, a pickup and tow straps .
Great comment with good insight! Thanks Gary!
I flew a thousand miles and returned / drove a thousand miles home with my latest purchase
Sweet! What kind of car was it?
If you want a cruiser that Electra was priced right!
I agree on that Gary!
Not a 57 T bird! That was a bullet bird 61 to 63!!
Good catch LOL!
That Buick is an awesome deal !!!!!!!
It is! Very nice one for sure John!
69 mustang is nice!!
Yes it is!
