Hi Jonathon. Just ❤❤ It ! The Burgandy on the inside looks Fabulous. And the touch of green on the outline just adds more interest to this beautiful table . Your Mum would be looking down on you and she would be Smiling down on you 🥰 Beautiful piece now Jonathan. Till next time take care and just ❤ your work X
Neat Makeover! Love the plan, the Red Inside is a great idea! ________________________ (I like the "Red Velvet Cake Color Plan" deep central Red towards Wine Red, You nailed it! With an Ivory Cream Exteror, and it calls for a touch of green, vine, like decopage ivy.) A really posh or shabby effect, and bit of Gold Leaf handles. Imagine a wall cabinet like this. It turned out great. ________________________ Your piece is great! Beth Tennessee, USA
Jonathan, this is a beautiful transformation. I had a similar table. I added a small LED light to the underside of the table top to highlight the burgundy. Well done as usual! ❤️
Oh my goodness, you are a mind reader that is exactly what I said to Mr M and I think we’re going to get a small battery operated LED light I think it would look lovely in the evening
Lovely. Your Mom would love what you did! (Your color choices were almost Exactly the idea I was hoping you’d go for.). But, the only disappointment I have is seeing the finished piece - without your previously- mentioned peace lily plant and your new roman window shade! Lol: see how fans like me get so involved??!! Love you!
I’ve been asked quite a bit about the peace, lily and I did stage it with the lily on top, but once photographed it looked a bit oversized in its scale for the pictures in reality it would look perfect but I have to say it let me to stage with a smaller item in my sitting room, and now I’ve decided it looks amazing in the sitting room so it’s not even made the little bedroom where I intended it to be LOL. At least I know it will work in several rooms now. Thank you so much for your lovely comment xx
I was surprised to see you working on a classic Moroccan piece but in the end it looked so attractive! Why do Annie Sloan chalk paints combine together better than a lot of other products?
Thank you very much. If you mean mixing the colours with Annie Sloan chalk paint it’s because she does not put any black pigment in any of the colours. Commonly other brands tend to use a lot of black pigment because it’s very cheap but Annie has made sure that has work very like an artist palette, which I think is awesome.
I just found you and I'm going to subscribe and start going through your playlist lol. 😊 I like the way you explain your thought process and the choices you make are very interesting in color and application. It's not what you usually see on furniture flips. I'm looking forward to seeing more from you. I also think it will be fun to go on the bathroom journey with you 😊 thanks for making my evening much more interesting...
Absolutely all my pleasure I’d like to say a big welcome to my channel and I truly hope you enjoy the other tutorials. They are all very similar in the sense. I explain most of my thoughts on colour choices along the way once again welcome and I’m wishing you all the very best for your future projects. 🙏😊❤️
Excited to know what you've done to this little beauty! Jonathon, that's the exact color I had in mind when I said "eggplant" as a sugggested color. VERY rich. Superb!!
What a Beauty!! Almost looks Scandinavian to me-without blue. Moroccan it does especially around the shapes with the lime green-without gold. The burgundy certainly add depth!! So Gorgeous!!❤ Was wondering what happened to your Peace Lily?
Never made it to the bedroom that I thought it would work well in. It’s ended up in our sitting room and looks absolutely gorgeous. It’s definitely found its new place 😊😊
@@JonathonMarcMendesPaintedLove Yay!!!! Everything happens for a reason!! A lot-don’t know the reason-just going with it!! Maybe the Lily needed more light & lots of water nearby?! 🪴💫🪴
So simple, yet gorgeous and complimentary to the piece!!!! Had you considered taking the green into the cut outs all the way through to meet the Burgundy color? If you had, I was just wondering what made you choose not to? Anyway, love it, as usual!
Hi … Can I put laquer and then wax olive green Annie Sloan painted table . I wanted to make the color a bit darker by using black wax . Is it ok to use laquer first as it is a dining table , and the finish it off with black wax . Kindly guide me .
It was so therapeutic just watching the way you transformed the table with those colors . You are great artist .

Beautiful piece now Jonathan.
Till next time take care and just ❤ your work X
Oh thank you very much I must admit it’s had me thinking about my mum quite a lot. I do think she would appreciate the end product xx
What a transformation. The beautiful wood architecture was lost with the original finish. I love what you did, as always. Beautiful.
Love it! ….. Perfect creative interpretation for the table!
What a transformation. I do believe Mom would be thrilled. The table has new life. Love it!!😊😊❤ Deborah from North Carolina
Hello Jonathon. What a lovely table. I think your mom would love it! I love the outline you did all over the piece. Well done!!👍👍🥰🥰🥰
Wow! Jonathon the details you’ve did to this piece are incredible!! Just no words to describe, just beautiful ❤
Beautiful I ❤it .I wouldn't have been able to stop myself from hitting the edges of the burgundy with a little gold or copper 😊
Neat Makeover! Love the plan, the Red Inside is a great idea!

I absolutely love red velvet cake, Yum😆
Me to. Glad you are back.
This turned out so cool. The green with burgundy looks fabulous! ❤❤❤❤❤
Would have been cool to put a small flower or leafy sort of border with moulds under the top, with some white or dark wax as highlights.
So much work, so beautiful, such great results.
Love love catching a color mixing lesson from you ,Jonathan, and this piece is super fun ❤
I think your mom would love it. Beautiful work and such care on the details.

How about burgundy on top with a faux bone inlay stencil 🤔

That’s a great question, I suppose I just wanted to be able to see each element of the design from different angles 😊😊

The framing is going to give a wow factor, I think anyways
Should have gone brighter with some fun Moroccan colors.
Oh can I have it for a price
