When manufacturing fire protection elements, the measurements must be accurate to the millimeter in advance so that the high fire protection requirements can be met. Alignments must be determined over up to 25 metres, ceiling deflections must be found, and construction tolerances must be measured.
The Leica Lino L6G makes it easy to check height levels (height markings). You can also transmit benchmarks and check pre-assembled components. He uses the Leica DISTO™ D2 to measure the overall dimensions at several points for verification purposes.
