- Scream 7 is rumored to have Courtney Cox returning as Gale Weathers to take on Ghostface again. Scream News hasn't been officially announced but would be a bit of a suprise if she's not in the upcoming Scream Movie.

Opening scene idea: gale is at physical therapy, recovering her arm and leg from getting stabbed (which effects how she moves her arm and leg). After she leaves physical therapy her instructor is killed.
I really hate it when people say that Gale is the only og to be in every single Scream movie, when Neve's departure from Scream 6 was over salary issues. If had been paid fairly, Sidney would have been in all 6 movies. So Gale's reason for why she was the only OG character in every Scream movie doesn't really count. So stop making that comment Tyler.

All Gale and Sidney could be working together a lot more now after all losing Dewey and they are the original 2 left!so they need to keep to a team and Kirby too
She also didnt recognize Richie's dad even though she wrote a book about Richie. Mrs Loomis had to get plastic surgery and lose weight to be unrecognizable and even then added that shed attended Gale's seminars to cover for Gale thinking she looked familiar. 5 and 6 writing so bad 😭
I really feel gale needs a few gale focus movies she's an epic character that is mostly never used to her full potential she's icon I want the rufless gale from 4 but she still has a big heart and cares for Sidney I really want gale and Sid to become the dynamic duo that we started to see in 5 they already care about each other they need to be that duo we wanted in 6 also I hope Melissa and jenna and mason and co can return mayb not in 7 witch is heartbreaking but definitely in 8 and more I think we need them all in the franchise again ❤i also want to see gale family involved like a niece Gabi weathers trying to become famous like a Megan fox type and a jealous sister over her daughter looking up to gale

No, gale has been the only person to be loyal to the scream franchise being in all of them. She deserves to live.
Gale rocks. She is a Key character. To me is the best character, changing filme by film. And she needs more screen time.
In first three films gale always fought every ghostface killer but failed to kill her but in the 6 film one of ghostface finally got her so I wonder what her role is gonna be like this time.
They should bring Mickey and Stu back as the killers. Surprise Sidney!! That will outsell Scream 6.
