It's easy to see now how Solar and Hwasa clashed in the early days. As Hwasa explained she was stubborn and didn't listen well, which made the ceo angry. It probably contributed to solar also being scolded, as the leader, or if not she took part of the blame anyway, and then scolded Hwasa. In turn Hwasa was probably like, why is everyone picking on me. And becoming even more stubborn.
I think that was early on their debut time, the time she explained she didn't know what to do bc she's always the younger in their family but suddenly become a leader, she said she was so strick at that time, she didn't want any mistakes on stages. But as we can see now, she's more relaxed and more patient and more understanding and just go along with the members while doing her job as a leader too. They're family now

I think out of all members, moos tend to forget that each has their own struggles especially in Solar's case, we don't pay attention to what's her struggle or worries as much cus its not that visible n always seems so strong. I think Solar is a very private n reserved person with strangers, she hardly ever talks about her hardships or the worries she goes through. I remember so many times she was not even seen in so many mmtvs cuz she was in work mode. Like being that buffer to not offend any seniors or casting crews, it always plays in her head to be mindful n shields the maknaes that way hence they can be more free with their jokes n all. While she always try n makes sure everything goes smoothly. Cuz as much as they are beagle, there's a fine line it can get offenssive if not handled properly. She always has that zeal to do well, wishes the best for all her members n takes care of them n ensures them. I can only wish, her worries can also be relieved n she doesn't feel that burdened. She really is one of the greatest people on this earth. Also her ability to be serious when she needs to is amazing which is probably why they always slay everything they do. Yongsun is underrated as a leader, she is IMO one of the best kpop leaders. She's always the first one to loosen up, get crazy. She has the visual to be your perfect elegant lady in any gg, but she never cares about that. And I think becuz she is always the first one to act like a crackhead, it makes the members feel so much easier to follow and be themselves naturally. I mean, look at Wheein, she is an introvert during interviews/variety appearances without the members, but whenever Yongsun's acting crazy, she will follow energetically and act crazy too lol. I also like how she led the group to break the music bank(?) rule to go into the audience to sing with them, she genuinely seems really down to earth, not caring about an idol image. Solar felt the pressure of bein the oldest. Difference in age between Solar, Wheein & Hyejin are 4yrs and that in itself is large age gap. And considering at the time, the young ones prolly look up to her for protection & some sort of anchor for stability. So it's truly understandable that she treats them like her own children. It wasn’t always good times like now 😢 they’ve been through a lot. It says a lot about her that they’ve been through so much, fought and clawed from the bottom, and made their way to where they are now. Yong is without question a strong leader. Can you imagine the personal sacrifice of pride and ego she had to make? There have been moments she has deflected the main vocal title, even saying she doesn’t believe she is the best singer in the group. She’s stern, but uplifting. Constantly encouraging her girls to be better and leading by example. She’s not given enough credit for her role as Leader 😢.

Im hoping id get to see them grow even bigger. Honestly, theyre the most SNSD like idols. Their bond. Their dynamics. The fact that they dont care about their image especially on variety shows. How much fun they try to have while performing. But theyre also unique in a way that they break korean standards with their diverse personality, body types, and outlook.

Watching this again I’m reminded of how I can relate to Wheein personally that way. I’m not a person that shows a lot of emotions and I think by watching and learning from Mamamoo music, speeches word of encouragement and relatability. I’ve opened a bit as a person.
It must have been really hard on her to be in that position. Being a maknae in your home and then suddenly becoming the leader and oldest to the other members. She has to keep it intact with herself so that the others may take her lead and she did a pretty awesome. 1 look and the girls knows what she means. It's not easy being in that position. I think out of all members, moos tend to forget that each has their own struggles especially in Solar's case, we don't pay attention to what's her struggle or worries as much cus its not that visible n always seems so strong. I think Solar is a very private n reserved person with strangers, she hardly ever talks about her hardships or the worries she goes through. I remember so many times she was not even seen in so many mmtvs cuz she was in work mode. Like being that buffer to not offend any seniors or casting crews, it always plays in her head to be mindful n shields the maknaes that way hence they can be more free with their jokes n all. While she always try n makes sure everything goes smoothly. Cuz as much as they are beagle, there's a fine line it can get offenssive if not handled properly. She always has that zeal to do well, wishes the best for all her members n takes care of them n ensures them. I can only wish, her worries can also be relieved n she doesn't feel that burdened.

She really is one of the greatest people on this earth. Also her ability to be serious when she needs to is amazing which is probably why they always slay everything they do. Like they all respect and accept each other and loser club knows when to listen to their leader. It's such a beautiful relationship they all have.
Yongsun is underrated as a leader, she is IMO one of the best kpop leaders. She's always the first one to loosen up, get crazy. She has the visual to be your perfect elegant lady in any gg, but she never cares about that. And I think becuz she is always the first one to act like a crackhead, it makes the members feel so much easier to follow and be themselves naturally. I mean, look at Wheein, she is an introvert during interviews/variety appearances without the members, but whenever Yongsun's acting crazy, she will follow energetically and act crazy too lol.
I also like how she led the group to break the music bank(?) rule to go into the audience to sing with them, she genuinely seems really down to earth, not caring about an idol image. I think she has that fearlessness, and its so refreshing among idol leaders. Definitely, she helped set the right tone for the group.

Solar felt the pressure of bein the oldest. Difference in age between Solar, Wheein & Hyejin are 4yrs and that in itself is large age gap. And considering at the time, the young ones prolly look up to her for protection & some sort of anchor for stability. So it's truly understandable that she treats them like her own children. Solar really has raised them all well.

It says a lot about her that they’ve been through so much, fought and clawed from the bottom, and made their way to where they are now. Yong is without question a strong leader. Can you imagine the personal sacrifice of pride and ego she had to make? There have been moments she has deflected the main vocal title, even saying she doesn’t believe she is the best singer in the group.

But the greatest thing about them is how they’ve grown as individuals and as a family. They’re honest and genuine people. I am reall happy Mamamoo is grtting the recognition they deserved long ago and that our girls are so supportive and strong. I love Mamamoo and this is one of the reasons I love them, because they take care of ach other and ready for fight for the members. Yong is known as Yeba but she is a great leader too and she is always teady to protect and support her members, like everybody mentioned I love her duality too and how serious she geths in an instant if it is neseccary. One of the great moments I saw Solar's leadership and strictness was, when they were pranking Hwasa on her birthday and how her face changes and asks to turn off the cameras off because she undertands it is not for recording her face is so full of concern and it shows how much the girls struggled and fought in the past and how again protective they are of each other. Solar unserstands Hwasa is being scolded and she is so concerned like she can't do anything to help her :(.
Im hoping id get to see them grow even bigger. Honestly, theyre the most SNSD like idols. Their bond. Their dynamics. The fact that they dont care about their image especially on variety shows. How much fun they try to have while performing. But theyre also unique in a way that they break korean standards with their diverse personality, body types, and outlook.
I wouldn't compare their friendship to snsd's. SNSD lost one member and never mention her again, and the youngest keep using formal speech with their unnies. They don't seem like they're really friends, they're colleagues

Watching this again I’m reminded of how I can relate to Wheein personally that way. I’m not a person that shows a lot of emotions and I think by watching and learning from Mamamoo music, speeches word of encouragement and relatability. I’ve opened a bit as a person.
It must have been really hard on her to be in that position. Being a maknae in your home and then suddenly becoming the leader and oldest to the other members. She has to keep it intact with herself so that the others may take her lead and she did a pretty awesome. 1 look and the girls knows what she means. It's not easy being in that position. You have to make sure everybody is in line. I appreciate Solar's effort and affection towards the members. I also appreciate Moonbyul, WheeIn, and Hwasa. We can clearly see in this video that they do really appreciate Solar's effort and affection for them.

I also read somewhere that in the SIO mv, there were allusions to each member. There was also an episode of Yonglish in her solarsido channel where she was suppose to book a room in a hotel. When asked for how many, she immediately said 4 without hesitation. I thought that was adorable.
