I love and use a lot of digicams, but the 'film look' goes way beyond low-MP CCD sensors, it has to do with the emulsion, silver halides, grain, and everything else that goes into photochemical photography. To me, there is a 'digicam look' - which I'm a fan of - and a 'film look', as separate things.
You're absolutely right. Back then, I got caught up in the hype of the film look with a digital camera. But as you say, it's an old digital camera look. Now I also shoot analogue, for the real film look.
Mostly i use automatic. But in very sunny situations I think Scene-Mode -> sunset / looks very good. This gives you these beautiful saturated brown tones
@@pixelkiez Thanks) Watched all your videos, really like your pics and atmosphere, keep it up. You inspire me to go out too, walk around places I've almost never been to and shoot something too
Do you shoot your pictures in Auto Mode on those old digicams or do you actually tweak anything in the camera? (I dont mean the Post Editing afterwards, just the Camera Settings)
First second of the video, i thought the background music was Beat It by Michael Jackson 😂
Oh yeah, i think its sampled 🙌
Good eye for composition.
Thank you 🙌
Die Licht und Schatten Bilder waren super.
Mal wieder ein schönes Video.
Freut mich sehr, vielen Dank.
Heftiger Bahnhof! Ein sehr schönes POV! Der Sound von Kamera auch klasse! 🔥🚀🦏
Ich danke dir. War auch völlig begeistert von dem Bahnhof.
0:47 bester S Bahn Sound ever🥳
You really should have more subscribers, great content, here's another to inch you towards 3K All the best from England

Thanks for the inspiration. Planning to shoot with my old Canon Powershot S30 and S90.

She was still too slow 😂

Friend, did you change stock photos? Maybe add filters
Yes, the images have been edited a bit with Lightroom.
@@pixelkiez where you can give me stock images? I want to see it, cause i will buy this cam
Das Auslösegeräusch 😂 Die Farben sind aber echt gut 👍🏻
Das Geräusch kam auch immer sehr verzögert 😂
I bought one too, but not too sure about the settings of the camera. Do you use the auto program or manual settings? If manual, what do you recommend?
Mostly i use automatic. But in very sunny situations I think Scene-Mode -> sunset / looks very good. This gives you these beautiful saturated brown tones
@@pixelkiez thanks a lot !
hey, i have the same camera but find the batteries die incredibly quickly. is that the same for you?
Yes, me too. I tried batteries but they ran out even quicker. This is generally the case with old digicams.
bro, which settings do u use in camera?
maybe 7m, good quality or.others
Hi. Sorry maybe the question is a bit silly because the answer is probably obvious. But what camera was used for the first 10 seconds of this video?
The intro was also made using the video function of the Samsung D75.

@@mond1s-197 Oh Thank you. It's nice to hear that and at the same time it's motivation to keep going 🙌
Did you edited these? Or camera took these photos on default?
I edit the photos in lightroom. But they are jpegs. You can only edit them minimally.
Do you shoot your pictures in Auto Mode on those old digicams or do you actually tweak anything in the camera? (I dont mean the Post Editing afterwards, just the Camera Settings)
Yes. With the old cameras I only use automatic mode.

The video at the beginning with which camera did you record it?
With the same camera. The Samsung D75
What happened to your Ixus 80?
It's standing here. A new video with the Ixus 80?
@@pixelkiez why not :) , with chdk if possible
@@M.okudan okay, i will try it
Did you edit the photos at all that you are showing us? Or are they how they come out
I edited the highlights and shadows a bit. Can't edit that much with jpg.
This is cool and I like digicams but honestly, you are better off just using your iPhone and any of the great apps that give film looks.
Yes, I have now discovered the RNI Films app.
@@pixelkiez There are more but it keeps deleting my comment. YT sucks
