They're not convoluted you just probably have a short attention span. Especially compared to that of a power drill manual. I came to watch this to double check if I was doing something wrong with the tension bolt for the gas springs but this guy just didn't answer the question I had. Seems like he just skims over some important details that otherwise should be included in the video.
Not sure what everyone is talking about with the instructions. I think people are confused because they combined two configurations, one for clamp and one for if you are using a drill. The instructions were pretty straightforward. I think the only con(mostly user error if anything) is that you need to know how thick/height your desk is before installing. Mines was not thick enough for the clamps to reach so i had to use a book to make it thick enough to keep it in place. Had i known i would have gotten like a block of wood or something from my job to use. Its holding fine otherwise lol
I viewed the instructions and was like,”Hell no” and wanted to give up before I got started. Clicked on your video, rewind a few times, got it done in a reasonable time, and felt damn good about it !!!!! Thank you you for a simply and seamless video - ❤
Thank you thank you thank you!!! I opened up box and sat and looked at the manual. I put it off for 3 days then came to yt and found you. Super easy instructions!
I got one of these at a thrift store today for 20 bucks, hardware still sealed in the bag. Setup was pretty easy. I have a 32 inch on the left and a 27 on the right... and yes, oh the desk space 🙃
I wanted to buy this mount, but had so many questions. After watching your video, i have zero questions. Love your calm and gentle style of explaining and talking. Subscribed!
@@xcrql You have both options. You can clamp it to your desk or drill a hole and secure it that way. Both options are included in the package, as the video states.
The arm that holds the monitor isn't staying where I want it, I twist the Allen wrench hole counter clockwise until I feel that it's gonna snap, then it just pushes up to default position?
I'm happy the discount is until Feb 31st because it buys me a couple days more I would otherwise not have available in my calendar. Thank you for that my friend!
This is a great review! Thank you for sharing this and going into so much detail. I'm excited for mine to arrive in a couple days as an upgrade for my setup.
speaking of monitors, the macOS scalling works best when the display has ppi of ~110 or ~220. That's why Apple's 27" display is 5K not 2K or 4K. Does similar limitation linux have? As in on your 27" 1440p monitor, which is at ~110 ppi, macOS default scaling would work fine, but what about linux? would it need fractional scaling on 110 ppi display? or default scaling/200% would look appropriate on 27" display having ~110 ppi? I am bit confused which one to buy, 27" 1440p (~110 ppi) or 27" 4K (~165 ppi)
I have one of the same pro art monitor and a 144hz 27 on a monoprice stand and am running into the same issues. I honestly love the stands but they just take up too much space on my desk. I was initially going to get a deeper desk but after a lot of hunting around there is nothing out there that matches both the length and width I want that wouldn't run me at least a thousand dollars. In the end figured I'd finally get myself a dual monitor arm and settle on a 24" deep desk. Kind of surprised to find one of the 'cheaper' options works this well, I've had some terrible experiences with less expensive stands (usually for customers who bought a stand without doing much research first) and will probably get the monoprice workstream stand but it's good to know these do work if tight budget is a concern.
If you want a good deal for relatively cheap just buy a butchers block cut it to size make legs for it and stain it if you want and bam shouldn’t be any more than an ikea desk and will be made from real strong wood
Hello, thank you for this video super informative, since you had it for a few months could i ask one more question? what about the stability/wobble of this thing? considering im playing game that requires a lot of fast mouse movement my desk happens to shake a lot, will my screen shake even more on these arms?
My desk is quite sturdy so I have no issues with it. If your desk wobbles there will be a little shake, but the joints are fairly tight so it wouldn't be dramatic.
Did the stand come with screws to mount the monitors? One of my monitors has screws already but I can’t find screws for my 2nd monitor. Just want to know if I need to order more
I have a question. I have two 27 inch monitors but they are 3 pounds heavier than what the max says at 14.3 lbs. do you think this mount will still be able to support them or do I need to return it for another?
Hi I'm here to ask a question is there anywhere to get a replacement for the c-clamps because I bought a PC that came with a dual monitor stand It came with everything but the clamps so I'm asking if anyone knows where to buy replacements I've been looking online but I can't find the exact one idk if I need the Pacific ones but I think I do someone help me pls
How tall can the arms go? I installed mine to have them very high but I can’t reach more than 10 inches from the desk to the bottom of the monitor. I am really frustrated 😢
i bought mine used, and the 2 arms where not attached to the base, It came with 1 of those rectangle washers that you see holding the arms to the base, I am trying to find another 1 of those washer brackets. Do you know what they are called??
Great video and explanation of the product, I was just wondering if the screws used to place the monitor into the arm are packaged with the product? Are 8 screws provided or would I have to get them my own?
I love seeing the mini pc getting some use, really thinking about simplifying my setup and getting rid of my full size tower, maybe replace with either a framework or mini pc.
I was thinking getting this one bc of the possibility to run the keyboard and mouse cables through those usb ports there and have a bit more of cable mngmnt
Not sure if anyone will see this: but I just bought one this exact mount and the tightening hole to loosen the arms is not working. My arms will move left and right but will not budge at all for up and down movement. Any thoughts?
You can also get a monitor mount adapter for models that don’t support vesa mounts. Only issue is if they are too heavy you can’t spin them vertical. But they do get the screen off your desk and free up some space.
Maybe I missed it but would have been nice to have a more clear overview of everything included. I'm still not sure if there are just 4 screws or 8 screws included since it's s *dual* monitor stand.
Superb video, that really helped me to setup mine! Height adjustment seems to be the main issue for me, its tricky to get both monitors (both 27 but different models) equal
I have a 24 proart and gonna get a 27. I was worndering if I can have the 28 centered in front of me and the 24 on a side at around 50/60 degrees. Are the arms long enough in your opinion?
Great video! The instructions that come with the equipment are awful and it appears yours came partially assembled unlike mine. Thank you for the tips and helpful info!
im thinking of getting this how does it hold up now after 2 months and anyone else will it hold a 15 to 20 pound monitor i have a old dell 2005 monitor
I just ordered this dual monitor mount. I got one that was like $15 cheaper but it doesn't move up/down which sucks for me since I have a standing desk and I need to change the height of my monitors when I sit down and when I stand. Thanks
Huanuo should pay you because their terse instructions with convoluted graphics are unreadable
It’s actually crazy how bad they are 😭

Will this arm work for a dual 27” vertical stacked setup?
How much space does the clamp require at the back of the desk? ie: How close can a desk be to a wall when this is clamped to it?
