The temple was being taken care of by priests as it was destroyed by people of different religions beliefs. This old lady who seemed to be murmuring something to herself either mantras or just gods names. Used to beg from people rice pulses oil and used to cook everything in earthen pot and serve it to the lord. With oil she used to light the lamp. Although temple was infested with snakes she used to adress snakes by lords names and ordered them to give way to her so that she can satisfy hunger of the lord. Later she used to feed the snakes milk. When people enquired her about her name caste region she gave a divine smile no specific answer. One perticular day she spoke to everyone in the place and told them the lord spoke to her saying there will a man who will be coming to renovate the temple and that her services will not be needed so she happily bid farewell to the residents and said she will be meditating on thirumala temple. After she left ,People looked if any one was really coming . Sure enough a priest appeared to whiom lord had appeared in his dream and requested him to come find him. So the lady was right. The king who ordered that temple to be destroyed was killed by a mysterious decease even before he crossed chittoor district. Although all other deities were destroyed the main deity was left intact for some mysterious reason they just stole golden jewellery of the lord.
