I've heard a lot about Tarot but hadn't checked them out - til now! 💜 Like I need more to listen to on YT, but adding to the list. - And you're so right about the 'moment' like that from a concert staying with you. The can do that because of study and the feel of that particular instrument. The topflight player rarely swich makers/builders/models. That leaves mental capacity to sing. One other thing, there is a marked improvement of his singing since Floor joined NW. Don't know if he took lessons from her or pointers but... seems apparent in his singing.
I think Floor was a great partner for Marko, but I think he was already at a top flight level before she joined Nightwish. He really is a world class vocal talent, besides being a really great bass player. This is a phenomenal vocal performance.

He could be the lead singer of any mega band out there. Nightwish take on Pink Floyd's High Hope's is just one example of his amazing singing.
Find Nightwish's cover of Pink Floyd's High Hopes. More glorious Marko! And The Islanders from the Tampere live. He is a master of crowd control.

There are actually two voices. The dude in samples also provides vocals, ans there are even songs performed by him, with Marco doing second voice.
