Uwharrie National Forest new Lakeview trail HD 1080p

The new Lakeview Trail is a 1.6-mile addition to the Badin Lake OHV Trail Complex. The main trail, which is rated as easy, originates at the Art Lilley Campground and heads north. It was constructed so that stock (regular) vehicles may utilize that 1.6-mile part of the trail to enjoy the unmatched scenery and views of Badin Lake that the trail offers. It continues north to cross Wolf Den Road (Forest Road 516), to then continues onto Wolf Den Trail (TR89). Unlicensed vehicles will no longer be permitted on Wolf Den Road (FR516). Instead, unlicensed vehicles may utilize the Lakeview Trail to connect to the Wolf Den Trail. Dispersed camping is permitted at the Art Lilley Campground, around the Falls Dam Trailhead, as well as several other nearby locations. Camping, however, is prohibited along the length of the Lakeview Trail to protect sensitive natural resources.
