Well, it is a VOCAL MISSION and the whole dilemma that was ongoing was that Pharita and Ahyeon was having trouble with the chorus and their bad throat conditions. So they really set it up for the vocalists to have their moment to shine and get compliments or feedback. However, I think they did compliment Ruka..they just didn’t show it because it was a VOCAL MISSION. Would it have been nice? Yes I would love to hear and see all their feedback/compliments for the girls. But they said it was overall a GOOD, STABLE, and ENJOYABLE performance..the girls embodied the song and emotion well.
In my opinion, what I really love about this performance was their balance and unity. They all had their time to shine..there was no ego. They even harmonized and did background vocals for each other. Ahyeon did a great job with the difficult chorus part, she did it in her own way. Pharita’s voice is just so pretty and soothing!! Ruka’s rap is a good mix of vulnerable and strong..I love the quick flow that she did and she just had such a great rap cadence as well. She also did some harmonizing in “it’s 8 in the morning, hate in the morning.. all because of you”. I like that part.. she just didn’t rap, she sang a little bit and did some adlibs in the end. They shined TOGETHER and that was the point.. VOCAL GROUP MISSION.
Great Reaction Narako! Yes you really need to react to Stay! And there’s a JenLisa Rapverse although it’s melodic it gets the point across! This is not a very popular song M/V because it’s almost like a Country and Western vibe! 🙏🏻
