This showtape is ShowBiz Pizza Time's very first attempt at producing a Rock-afire show, without any involvement from Creative Engineering. The reason behind this was because ShowBiz coporate was getting tired of CEI constantly missing deadlines, so since they were already producing CEC showtapes in house they decided to produce their own Rock-afire tapes as well. CEI was not happy about this, and in retaliation, they would take away ShowBiz's exclusitivity rights to the RAE away from them, and the RAE would begin to preform at places outside of ShowBiz such as Circus Pizza and Pistol Pete's. CEI wouldn't produce another show for ShowBiz until later in 1986 with their segment of the Liberty Show, but even then that was only one segment, the first half of the show was done by ShowBiz. CEI would finally go back to producing new material for ShowBiz consistantly in 1987, with Rock & Roll Classics, but they would only record the audio ShowBiz, would be in charge programming as well as video footage, with the introduction of the Cyberstar. As for this show, it's only two segments, though the segments are both about 14 minutes each. Segment 1 introduces Fatz's keyboard, the Magical Musical Time Machine, which can transport anyone to their musical dreams. Segment 2 is a collection of then current hits preformed by the band. One thing to note about these shows is the voices. The voice actors hired by ShowBiz for this show do horrible job at impersonation the characters, and sound barley anything like them. Thankfully these actors only lasted one show before ShowBiz replaced them, but still these voices are awful. Almost all of the characters sound the same, and unless you watch this show live, its hard to tell who's singing. Overall, this show is probally the worst Rock-afire show ever produced. Yes, ever worse than "Rolfe and Earle".
