I love those scissor skills from Melissa and Doug ... I used it for my son Nicholas when he was 4 and in kindergarten and I've been using it with Michael too. So good! The tape one os so fun too!
Great video! After watching I will be picking up the preschool math at home, Jady A resources and the handwriting without tears. Thank you so much for sharing.
Hey Brittany enjoyed this video. Look like your daughter will be having an awesome 2022-2023 school year with the curriculum you have chosen. Praying that you all have a wonderful and fun school year.
We have loved using Gentle + Classical Preschool this past year - my son loves the memory statement cards. That's an amazing deal for All About Reading!
We are so excited to get started. I really think it will be a great introduction to memory work. I still can’t believe I found that deal on Facebook Marketplace. I feel so blessed. 😊
Great choices!! We did gentle classical and playing preschool combined too! We also love all about reading!! You all will have so much fun with all of these!
Truly love what you’ve chosen to use with your daughter next year, and I’m looking forward to watching some “lessons in action” posts! (Hoping you will produce a lot of those.) 😆
Make sure you go get the new edition information from all about reading as you have 2nd edition teacher's manual and 3rd edition activity book. I don't remember if there were many changes but just double check before you start
I love all these choices! How are you going to schedule both Playing Preschool and Gentle & classical preschool? Are you going to read the books from both? Thanks so much for this video!
@Sarah Echavarria aww thanks!! I absolutely love it too! I am going into my 4th year ❤️ and love learning from newer homeschoolers and more seasoned homeschoolers... always something new to learn from each other ❤️
I had tried busy toddler with my eldest and it didn't work out for her (she craved structured lessons). But now we are realizing our second would really benefit from busy toddler and our two years old is craving for any sort of educational activities, so we're pulling it back out. I do wonder though when in your daily schedule you plan out the busy toddler lessons around your older daughter. We normally have one block in the morning where we do school (from 8am-10am) and do youngest to eldest, but some of these activities will obviously take longer as they have fun with them and the eldest will want to join. Do you keep the fun activities for a different time in the day?
Have you tried/looked at Rod and Staff math? I looked into it and looks a lot like Saxon (only cheaper). If you used it, can you tell me how it went for you?
Yes I seen it too!!! It looks amazing!!! I settled on Saxon so I could use video lessons with it as well. I purchased Saxon used and I saved so much money. ☺️
I have heard great things about LOE. That was going to be my second choice. I feel you on the math. I am already looking ahead for kindergarden. Preschool math at home is such a good play based start to math. It will really has the kiddos thinking. 😊
I love LOE! I started my oldest at 4.5 yo on the level B and went through the entire program by the time she was 6 (I excluded the handwriting). She reads so well! So hoping for the same success!
Omg ! I have Scribd as well. Are you able to share a link or anything to find the Explode The Code. I searched it up but I’m only finding level 1 and 1.5.
I hope you guys have a great Pre-K year. Rachel did an awesome job on Alphabet Adventures. We really enjoyed using some of her Purely Preschool units as well.
We don’t have to register the kids in the Georgia Board of Education until age 6 😍. But that doesn’t have to stop you from official starting Pre-k at home.
Thanks for sharing, the gentle &classical curriculum looks like so much fun!
I enjoy your videos and your joy just makes me smile.
Gentle and Classical is wonderful and the preschool math is great! This program works and once you get it set up it's amazing.

I was kind of nervous about combining the 2 curriculum at first. But, I am so happy to hear you guys had a great year using them both.
What a steal on that AAR! A great line up.

Thank you so much. I am so excited to get started. I am so excited to film more of our daily rhythms. I cannot wait to share.😊

@Sarah Echavarria awesome! My son will be starting 4 :) and my youngest will be doing A
I am so excited to do this whole series with the kiddos. My oldest has only done book 8 and it was great.
@Sarah Echavarria also to add to this lol haha... I know teachers who use it for kids with disabilities also. And it's so great!

My fave videos of yours !
Love the excitement!
What a steal! 20 bucks for AAR! Awesome!
Yes , I couldn't believe it. I thought it was an error until I contacted the seller. I was so thankful to get such a good deal.😍

@@brittanyolga Plus the teacher guide are integrated in the student work book, the rest are optional!
We will be using Logic of English for my 4 yo. I haven’t decided about math yet I will definitely check out Preschool math at home!

Thank you!! 😊
How long do you do the homeschooling per day? And how do you dictate like vacation? Do they have to check in through a classroom or teacher?
Where was it you printed off the Explode the Code from? I can’t seem to find the correct link!
Omg ! I have Scribd as well.
Are you able to share a link or anything to find the Explode The Code. I searched it up but I’m only finding level 1 and 1.5.
Do you have a link for Preschool Math at Home? Am I missing it? Thank you!
Why did you choose AAR over Ordinary Parents Guide to Teaching Reading? Just curious.
i like the two curriculums you are using but i dont think they will work for us this year. we are using alphabet adventures and rhythms of the year
I hope you guys have a great Pre-K year. Rachel did an awesome job on Alphabet Adventures. We really enjoyed using some of her Purely Preschool units as well.
We live in GA and my daughter is 4 and half I want to start homeschooling so do I need to register online for it ?
