Absolutely love this ending. The song is amazing on its own, but the imagery that pairs with it just so striking. The 3 Saninn and Team 7 interacting with each other as kids was sweet. But then it goes into all of their pasts and juxtaposes it with images of where they are in the present. My favorite part is how Tsunade and Jiraiya are both watching over the village while also looking at each other from afar. Knowing what happens to Jiraiya in this arc really makes that hit home. Such a great ending, easily one of the best in the series.

The Team 7 imagery was awesome here. I like how they show Sakura and Naruto as intrinsic parts of the village, with Sakura being a medic non and Naruto finally being accepted, while Sasuke slips further into the darkness
0:25 notice how it shows everyone separate and walk their own paths and become their own person. note how sasuke and orochimaru take the farther path, the darker path than everyone else. then sakura runs up and starts to walk her own path.
Best part is because everyone had a path Naruto and tsunade became hokage sasuke and orochimaru ran away from the village and jiraiya had to find the child of prophecy sakura never had a past

I just loved the fact that Hiruzen's team mirrors Team 7, even with so much age gap. This time around, there's little to no stupid love triangle, as they're all grown ups, but deep down, they didn't know better. The inverse to Sakura's crush for Sasuke is Jiraiya's for Tsunade, she realized it way too late, glad she got the closure with Dan thru 4th Great Ninja War though, that's how you handle tragic love story.
Wish Naruto let his hair down and open his jacket up more when he was a teenager. He actually looked cool as fuck there, like a really strong big brother.
I actually started sobbing after 01:07 , damn the background was the swing he used to be alone when just a kid & in this frame we see now he surrounded by so many kids.
This ending definitely my top 5, the song is so chill and Tsunades reactions are also very unique where they show her in a more vulnerable position than in most of the series.

In 2024, this song still has the power to make me cry. Back when depression was no joke, you could see yourself in one of the three characters. The way they struggle and overcome the challenges in life is truly inspiring, motivating you to rise and keep moving forward. Without these three, many people might have lost their lives to depression. I want to say thank you.
See guys, it's all about the two generations. An interaction between them as kids is perfect, as they look alike. The "lonely" Orochimaru, the "feeling" is for Jiraya suffering for loving Tsunade and the darkness that she's at when she lost the people that she loved (Orochimaru, her fiance and her brother). And note that Jiraya is there, watching for her. Then the "call me", representing Sakura to Sasuke leaving, "with you" for Sasuke and Itachi and the sadness of Naruto for being alone as always. Their accomplishments, like Tsunade watching for the village, on the other side you can see Jiraya doing the same, but also still watching for Tsunade (as you can see where she's at), Orochimaru with his goals, Sakura healing people, Naruto being accepted by the others in the village and Sasuke getting further into darkness. This make Sakura going into darkness like Tsunade, but being saved by her friends who still with her. All of those details make this ending one of the greatest.
Back in the day, I used to jam to this ending Soo much at the end of every episode!!! It was Soo emotional, sakura was being teased by young Jiraiya and Naruto , while Orochimaru and Sasuke minding their own business and walking calmly on that clear deep blue sea!! The music was had such a stylish 'step' sounding beat, and it was so beautiful how their important moments were being juxtaposed with their Sanin counterparts!!
This ending makes me want to back to my childhood watching Naruto Shippuden for the first time again. When I watched this ending for the first time as a kid, it was so beautiful and relaxing like Naruto has a beautiful story (well it is). That feel started from 00:00

The imagery and symbolism of this ending.... Jiraiya at the front, as he is the first one to leave the world, and passing his legacy to his student.... That's just. Tsunade not being able to do anything no matter what, and Orochimaru trapped by his ambitions.... Naruto's generation truly feels quite similar to Jiraiya's
I always felt emotional with this one because Sakura always wanted to be strong and be of any use in the battle field All of them Ino Naruto Sakura Orochimaru Jiraiya Sasuke Tsunade All of them ended up being strong and of us Sakura struggled but the end of the video felt like a I FINALLY DID IT
What I like the most about this ending theme beside the song is that there's so much meaning behind every scene in the clip. For example the past of the three Sannin and their present, Sasuke entering into the shadow, orochimaru watching the grave of his parents (lonely) etc.. What touches me the most is Jiraya standing there watching Konoha, it means a lot since he rarely came there, he was always watching and protecting the leaf from the outside and he died and was burried outside. Anyway, you will discover a meaning in every scene each time you watch the clip.
Still one of my favorite anime endings to this day. I don't know what it is. But the music, the simple art, the expressions on them as children, the parallels between team 7 and the Saninn 3 all coming together is just beautifull! It's such a comforting and nostalgic song brings me back to the first time I watched Naruto in high school and to simpler times.

What I like the most about this ending theme beside the song is that there's so much meaning behind every scene in the clip. For example the past of the three Sannin and their present, Sasuke entering into the shadow, orochimaru watching the grave of his parents (lonely) etc..
What touches me the most is Jiraya standing there watching Konoha, it means a lot since he rarely came there, he was always watching and protecting the leaf from the outside and he died and was burried outside.
Anyway, you will discover a meaning in every scene each time you watch the clip.

Still one of my favorite anime endings to this day. I don't know what it is. But the music, the simple art, the expressions on them as children, the parallels between team 7 and the Saninn 3 all coming together is just beautifull! It's such a comforting and nostalgic song brings me back to the first time I watched Naruto in high school and to simpler times.
They’re all so cute when they’re tiny, even orochimaru. Also, weird time to learn that my iPad tries to autocorrect orochimaru to “Oreo hi Mary” for some fecking reason
