It looks like most are variants of the good ol' Suzuki GSX1100/GSF1200 1.2L. Right at 1:44 you get a good zoomed in view of one. I had a 98' Bandit 1200GSF that hauled BALLS and pulled hard to red line in every damn gear N/A. Easily kept up with some liter bikes that were much newer. These drag carts are really cool!
Sketchy with no suspension - the tires/clutch are doing all the work - almost like you need to go for a larger tire to get more cushion out of them and be on point with the tire pressures - gotta store that energy somewhere off the line if it's jolting so hard you can't hook or control it or use wheel spin to your advantage to spin the first few feet then hook. Or slip the clutch but i bet those things are more like a light switch - on/off. looks like a ton of fun either way!
I would like to know the 60 ft time on the cart that ran last in the near lane .He ran 9.30 @ 138+ mph , that is a very quick time for the mph , only cars that are very light with great 60 ft times run that e.t. with that mph . My old dart with 11" m/t sticky street tires went 9.80's at 138 , but my 60 ft time was not too good at that track , only 1.46 to 1.50 . I'd guess that cart that shows the scoreboard times at 2:41 probably had close to a 1.20 60 ft time . The stock/superstock class guys have told me that a 1/10th of a sec improvement in the 60 ft time , is good for 1-1/2 tenths , or more , off the overall time .
@@grumpyscruff3459 I would have expected quicker 60 ft with that e.t. to mph , but if it's way out of breath at the top end that can also have that effect .
@@EvansBrosRacing currently trying to get my 60ft times down and trying different things some of the other karts cut a lower 60ft time around 1.2 think its a case of experimenting to find the sweet spot
@@grumpyscruff3459 you are running very impressive numbers right now , not sure if you guys play with the gear ratios as far as launch or clutch slippage , but possibly a taller tire may help ? not sure what rules you guys have but that must be a blast to go that quick and fast that low to the ground and with no real roll cage . good luck and stay safe , I am impressed with what you guys do .
1:12 I love that rev🏍
I love the shark kart👌👌

Yea
WTF @ 1:10 this guy isn't even in the beams.
i think the body work up front is so low that it trips the beams, and not the wheels.
